When you come here, instilled in you is a passionate disdain for that deeper color blue, a general disgust for Durham, N.C. (just 8 miles down the road), and a deep yearning to see a tear or two or fifty roll down the face of every spoiled, conceited, whiny Blue Devil who ever lived every time we shock and rock their world.

Has Whitney caught the fever? Yep. Kinda. I found myself all over the University Washington, Griz game today. They had it on in the lab, and in all the classes that I had when it was on. That's right. Mr. Favero ACTUALLY

turned on a basketball game at the end of physics. Pure craziness. It was almost a Cinderella story, but good enough for Griz fans. We're the number 16 seed, and U Dubb was number one. We gave them a run for their money, and scared the crap out of them in the first couple minutes of the first quarter, swish swish, four points, better step up you're game. It was an awesome 16 seed game. Before the bell rang and I had to go to practice, the score was 68 81, them, in the second quarter with about 2:45 to go. We ended up losing... BY ELEVEN POINTS!!! The final score was 77 88, U Dubb. Now THAT'S a 16 seed game.

I had a pop quiz today in current world affairs. I had to fill out a bracket (my teacher, Mr. Jessop, is the boys basketball coach. He never wins at this, funny story), and we're all going to compete. I decided to make another one, and post my picks for all of you to see. I'm going for UNC.
