It reminds me of an episode of Twilight Zone I saw, good episode though.

So I am departing in less than 3 hours, that makes me extremely happy. I didn't miss this place at all. It was neat chillin with my brothers, but the drama is just too much. I'm a very mellow person, I hate drama & chaos. My bed didn't feel like mine anymore. The couch was unfriendly. Everything was just--empty.

It may sound bad, but it's the truth. It's just not cozy here. I know I have to come back in August, but that doesn't change how I feel about the whole thing.

Today was one of those days. A day that the internet did not work after switching from comcast to verizon fibos. One of those days that I stepped right into Smoey and Nina Simones poop hole. A day that every gas station appeared to close early out of fear of Halloween ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The last that kind of day thing.....

Caller- Hello...CJ are you there?

Me- Yes I am here and I was taking a moment before I lost it on you. For future reference please dont call me by my first name as if we are friends...dont call as if i didnt remember  and lastly dont call me when I have a pound of crap stuck  on my shoe and carpet.

Caller- I can wait if you like.

YESSSSSS! I just got my Twilight Zone Collection 1 box set!!!!

I love the old Twilight Zone Series. It was so well written -- smart and thought provoking. In my opinion, only well written show is able to scare you to death without resorting to gore.

The box set was pricey, but it was worth it! It takes me back to those Saturday mornings when my mom and I would watch the show. We'd snuggle on the couch and eat popcorn or pretzels and pretend we were in a movie theater.

Anyone have a favorite Twilight Zone episode? Which one was it?

P.S. I'm patiently awaiting collection 2. :)

You're traveling through another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind.......That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Twilight Zone!....

Lets imagine that you really did slip through to that other dimension.  Then, lets suppose you slipped into the "Button, Button" episode of  the Twilight Zone.  To refresh your memory...a mysterious man arrives at the house of a couple in with financial problems...basically, they have a desperate need of money.  He hands them a box with a button on it and tells them that if they push the button, they will get $200,000 dollars and someone they don't know will die...now, before I tell you what happens, you make the decision.  But, lets change the amount to 1 million dollars.  Would you push the button knowing that someone would die?

Personally, I'd be really tempted.  I mean you don't know the person, but the difficult part would be that you would be the cuase of someone's death.  You take a few minutes to think about it.....

Okay, now that you have made your decision...I'll tell you what happens.  The wife pushes the button after the couple agonize over it.  The mysterious man returns and gives them the money.  He takes back the box and they ask what will happen to it.  He replies that someone else will get the box now....someone they don't know...aha!...eeek!

A couple of deals I've found this past weekend:

1. Chicago Cubs home jersey: It was originally priced at $65, but was marked down to $34.91. Then for some reason it was reduced even further to $21.20. :D

2. Twilight Zone, Collection 2: Found this set at Caro Wal-Mart for only $41.24, about $55 less than at any other store. :D
