This Crap is Getting Just a Little Out of Hand
Ever since Susan Boyle turned heads, apparently "Britain's Got Talent" has found a new amazing contestant every single week since.

Last week it was the little girl in the tutu singing, and this week it was some guy who apparently chopped off his nuts to get on the show: Click here to see for yourself, it'll open a new window.

Ok, BGT, this is getting old. Susan Boyle shocked us. Yes, I'll agree there. But enough is enough already. Not all of these people are worthy of the same acclaim and the whole deal is really just getting on our nerves.

Star Fucking Hipsters shows

Employed or not, I went to the 2 nearest shows to me to see Star Fucking Hipsters, fuckin' tight!

1st Pic was the show at this shitty makeshift venue(that took 2 hours to find!)  in El Paso. That show sucked, but I met an awesome group of local punks who gave me some possibly life-changing advice. I was almost too sore to go to that show, at first.

Latter 2 pics were at the better of the two shows in Albuquerque. This show was much better, at a relatively new venue called "The Bleeding Eardrum." I met a very pretty, very down-to-earth punk girl there. It nearly killed me to hear her say she was a LESBIAN, though. LOL. At least I got a kiss at the end of the night.

They ran out of shirts, so I gotta Myspace them after the tour for one, but I got a "Until We're Dead" Vinyl LP, and four patches.

What is with these shows?

Wicked Wicked Games and Watch Over Me?  Why are they on all the time?  I haven't watched them but it seems to me that they have been on every night for the past two weeks at the same time.  How can a show be on every single day and not get dry?  I don't understand how it can retain viewership with lots of other good shows competing...shows that are probably much better.  I just find it annoying to always see the same shows on everytime I flip to that channel.  Seems to be a complete lack of variety.

Does this blog entry seem repetitive?...good, cause thats what its like for me to see the same thing on the same channel everyday....lol

tour

Today I thought I'd give you a little tour of my beloved DVD collection :D I had these shelves custom-made to fit snugly in a little corner of the living area.

The left-most shelf contains everything animated.  Dominating this shelf is all my japanese anime! Favourites here include Cowboy Bebop, Berserk and Haibane RenmeiTowards the bottom are all my Disneys and Tim Burtons as well as Tintin collection.

The middle shelf is all about TV shows! The top shelf is dedicated to BBC documentaries and series and British comedies including my favourites Pride & Prejudice, Forsyte Saga, Black Books, and Absolutely Fabulous! Then you have various other shows like: 3rd Rock, Buffy, Angel, CSI, Everybody Loves Raymond, Desperate Housewives, Fraggle Rock, Friends, Gilmore Girls, House, Little House on the Prairie, Seinfeld, Monkey, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Stargate, Xena, The X-Files.

The last shelf on the right is my movies shelf :D

As you can see I am fast running out of space.  I had to put a few dvds elsewhere for now.  I'm seriously considering getting the Buffy and Angel monster collections all 30-39 discs housed in a nice little box just to save me some room! Buffy takes up an entire shelf on its own! (middle shelf, 3rd row down) But I can't part with those nice collector's boxes...Ah, the dilemmas of life.

That concludes my little show off um tour...hope you've enjoyed it! Now you know what I'm doing when I'm not blogging...hehehe

Heroes
Heroes is one of the newest programs on tv.
I got caught up into it because they have a 'world' cast.  Middle Eastern, Japanese American, psychos lol.
All the story lines are great. I especially like the Japanese storyline, though their names escape me atm.
I find it is a good way to continue my japanese studies while enjoying a good program.
Last weekend I had taped the marathon they had running.
I'm still a VHS'r, lost the original vcr remote and so I only caught 2.5 episodes.
The tape stopped right when the cheerleader daughter got caught by her father with mud on her feet.
grrrrrrr.
I had class Monday nite, so I missed the latest installment which was not a rerun.....again grrrr.
Does anyone else watch Heroes?

Thanks!
