For many reasons the fastest growing demographic on the internet today is freelance moms and frugal shoppers. These people also like contests and internet marketers have learned that contests are a great way to harvest a lot of email addresses and build a benevolent brand. So the number of online contests available to consumers is way up this summer, and you will soon discover that without a plan of action it can all get very overwhelming.
First you should adopt disposable email addresses, like gmail or hotmail and use the identities to enter contests.
Then create a routine and find a good contest index websites to filter through the old and new business and make it easier to schedule 'contest time' . North of the border, I use All Canada Contests which divides hundreds of web challenges into regions, and also by the prizes offered , like automobiles, electronics, home prizes, travel packages etc
I usually avoid contests with spectacular prizes to enter contests that offer multiple prizes. The odds of winning something are dramatically increased in contests with multiple prizes. Find contests with ‘prize schedules’ where there’s a quota to be dispensed according to demographics – these benefit the consistent entrant who varies his or her routine.
Make entering contest easier by using downloading and using free form filler software such as RoboForm
There’s a few different systems, but RoboForm lets users rapidly enter repetitive data (name, e-mail, address and phone number) by using their mouse and clicking prefabricated options. This makes the process much easier and builds your chances of success by increasing the amount of contests you can enter in a day.
If you can submit applications to one hundred contests a day, you can enter five hundred contests a week, and that’s two thousand chances a month, and that offers a reasonable chance of something and perhaps making as much as a doctor or an investment banker would have earned in the same amount of time.
The large calico animal who does my bidding and feeds me when I ask stayed home last night. Good thing too because I was getting tired of entertaining myself all alone. when she is around it's alot more fun and usually ends up in more treats. For example when she goes up that climbing ramp after dark I know the fun is about to begin. I have taught her the neatest tricks. She hides little pieces of dry meat all over several rooms and thinks I am going to have to hunt for them once its dark. How stupid. I follow her around and watch each spot where she tosses the bits and later at my leisure go collect them, and she is so predictable. window sills, my play tunnel, counter tops near that big water holder that makes whirring noises everytime she gets in. She hides the treat container in the top part of that white box but I am working on a way to get in there so I dont have to keep asking her for them.
And I encouraged her to make more of those dangle hair scrunchies by going beserk whenever she whips it threw the air. Now there is one in almost every room and just with a little wiggle of my tushie I can get her to pick one up and wag it around so I can chase it and gnaw on the knots.
But she is sorta sweet. and i love her smell and have taught her all the places i like to be touched and the places i hate. she learns pretty quickly. Yeah I will keep her.
Last night we started a new game where I lay on my back and she presses my back feet while i stare at her. I don't know why she loves it but she murmurs softly, rubs my cheeks and gives me more treats so I put up with it.
They left the door open this time after the rooms got dark I must admit I got lonely in that big place all alone and climbed back onto her bed to sleep with her anyway. I would snuggle up to that larger balding animal too but he moves alot at night and I keep having to move over. I have trained the smaller calico to curve herself right around me to keep me warm.
It's quiet now and I think she is going to start clicking those sticks with the pink fluff so I had better go and see if I can help her unravel that big fluffy ball. meow.
After doing some reading, I found out that my puppies can only have a total of 15 moves memorized. Which means some of my mirrored moves will need to be "forgotten".
I'm going to get rid of everything on the right: "shake right paw", "flat", etc. and not learn any more mirrored moves like "wave goodbye".
*sad face*
Jayne, my Siberian Husky Nintendog can do the following tricks:
- "sit"
- "lay down"
- "lie flat" (lay down to his left)
- "flat" (lay down to his right)
- "shake paw" (shake with left paw)
- "shake right paw" (duh)
- "lay on your back" (roll onto his back, to his left)
- "back flip" (self explanatory)
- "breakdance" (lay on his back and spin)
- "chase your tail" (again, duh)
- "jump up"
- "play" (lowers his front legs and sticks his butt in the air and wiggles it)
- "achoo" (sneeze on command)
- "wave hello" (while sitting he raises his left paw very high)
Now, I am teaching him:
- "flipper" (laying on his side and raising a paw like he's a seal)
- "beg"
- "now kip" (when he's on his back he jumps up to stand
- "cry baby" (whimpering)
- "speak" (bark)
- "wave goodbye" (while sitting he raises his left paw very high)
Those are just the tricks I'm working on now. There are more, from what I understand.
I also bought another dog, a golden retriever which I named Mal, after the captain of the ship Serenity. Like AAP said, he's a Browncoat already.
I almost bought a Yorkie male last night and named it Wash, since I had a theme going. He seemed to be a Wash since he was described as a goofball, just like the pilot of the ship Serenity. I finally didn't because I wasn't sure if Yorkies were short-haired or long-haired. If it was short-haired, I would have had to bought all new grooming supplies. I don't want to spend my prize money from Obediance Competitions and Disc-Throwing Competitions on more grooming supplies. I have more important things to buy, like water and a new house and... um, more dogs.
There's something very satisfying about having a room of males following my every command. Well, to be honest, have a room of males sort of following my every command, because just when I want to show off my powers the dog gets stubborn and then I'm reduced to coaxing the dog to do the simplest tricks. My powers, wasted.
Today my dad decided that it was finally time to repair the R/C monster truck we have. Its main supports in the front where demolished, but we completely re-fabricated the front end. So any ways it took like 4 hours to fix crazy. First we didn't have the right kind of bonding glue or any rubbing alcohol to get rid of the previous glue. So we had to drive around to get those, then we got home and went to work on the machine. I super-glued my finger to the frame in the process, stupid, and painful. And then me and Connor bombed around in the driveway. I flipped the monster truck all the way around. I revved up over the jump and when the front wheels left the ground, I slammed it inot reverse, in the air it rotated forward hit its nose, then rolled back onto its wheels. kick ass. I also practiced J-turns and flatspins. Pretty sweet. My day was pretty fun, how 'bout anyone else?
With love, Jordan
