Trans Siberian Orchestra @ MindSay
Hoping that we'll all understand...
Every dream we have's in our hands
And for every bell
May they ring all through your life...
If you have to proclaim something, do it loud with electric gee-tars!!! And thusly I shall begin another entry into my Blog that has grown so woefully out of date. I have said the proclamation line every year for the past five years for five is the number of times that I have seen the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and I shall see them every year until they stop coming to my neck o' the woods or I can no longer see them whichever comes first. But alas, this was my first year that I did not have my PDA to take pictures of the show and this was the best seat that I had ever had though it may not have been the closest, it was the best overall seat...
And as in years past, they were the best show that I had seen during the year - good and loud and warm for the flames that shot from the back of the stage were warm. So I shall proclaim unto the masses, see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra each and every year and the world will be so much better for it...
There is so much I could say about subjects that fly out of my brain, but the moments of this existence are short and there is much work that needs to be done before the weary may rest...
Go ye now in peace, my children...
This is the Word of the AntiCrust...
Praise be ye who Read the Word for ye are Blessed amongst humans...
And for every bell
May they ring all through your life...

A Brief Christmas Message to Y'all...
From Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Old City Bar
...when the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
And in case you should wonder
In case you should care
Why we're on our own
Never went home
On that night of all nights
We were already there
Then all at once inside that night
He saw it all so clear
The answer that he sought so long
Had always been so near
It's every gift that someone gives
Expecting nothing back
It's every kindness that we do
Each simple little act...
A Very Merry Christmas to one and all...
Praise be ye who Read the Word...
...when the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
And in case you should wonder
In case you should care
Why we're on our own
Never went home
On that night of all nights

A Very Merry Christmas to one and all...
Praise be ye who Read the Word...
***FLAVOUR OF THE WEEK, December 17, 2006***
"So save your prayers
For when your really gonna need 'em..."
The Christmas Edition of the Flavour of the Week brought to you by Santa and his eight tiny reindeer...
Yep, we here at the Home Office know that this is actually a bit early, due to the day on which Christmas falls this year, it is better to be early than late even if being late may be considered fashionable in some circles...
And whilst we are doing up Christmas, we probably should throw in Boxing Day as well for next week's edition probably won't be online before that day either...
And keep in mind that it ain't Christmas until the jolly fat man sings or something like that...
This years Christmas card production was more or less as expected with two boxes of card stock, a new tricoloured ink cartridge, and a great of capital invested in postage stamps especially for those cards that traveled across the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. And when the amount of time per employee per card is factored in, the total cost of this years Christmas card production is approximately $3.9 million (US) - a 2.8% increase over the amount invested in last year's Christmas card production. This financial update was proudly brought to you by the fine folks in the Accounting Department...
And speaking of spreading Christmas cheer, I would personally like to thank all of the sponsors of the Flavour of the Week with special emphasis on the folks over at Rings and Things. Thank y'all...
And another merry year is coming to a close, so be extra good so that ya don't end up with gifts that suck...
Merry Christmas to one and all...

In this room where shadows live...
And ghosts that failed learn time forgives
Welcome, friends, please stay awhile
Our story starts with one small child
Who spends this night in attics dark
Where dreams are stored like sleeping hearts
And so it's here that they must wait
Till someone wishes them awake...
And so I find myself surviving another day on this big ole orb swirling about in some far off corner of this universe that turns ever so gently (relatively speaking) through the one and only universe (as far as we know for certain at least)...
At moments such as these, I often find myself wondering if I have actually accomplished anything other than just making it through another day. But is there really anything more to do than to just keep on going? And if there is more to do, what is it that needs to be done?
Why does it seem as if the questions of this existence only bring about more questions rather than answers? I suppose that there are no clear cut answers on the road of life for life is not an equation that can be answered with rational numbers. There are generalities that have the possibilities of being true, but they fail to be so under every situation...
And this is the mystery of this existence. There are answers that hold true most of the time, but not all of the time. There is always the possibility that a miracle will occur to through the logical answer out the window and change reality as we thought is should be into something that had never even occurred to us...
And at this time of the year, I believe in miracles. I believe that one day all the world will live in peace and harmony. I believe that one day all sickness will be eradicated from the face of this world, all hunger will be eliminated, and the world will be a much better place...
And it could happen by some twist of fate...
