Science/Politics rant. Kansas has decided that they want to hold meetings to decide if "intelligent design" should get as much textbook coverage as evolution in their schools. God damn it! Of course, the fundamentalists would say God damns the evolutionists. Then again, they also think the Earth is about 6000 years old. Okay, so the Brian kid that writes in the post-bulletin that we all hate because of his anti-Prom/anti-student council/anti-Kristen writings brought up a good point a while ago. So tons and tons of the textbooks that are new go into Texas. So basically, publishers will do whatever the heck they think will please texas (and california and one other state that i forget). Hmmm... do we think Texas is a state with more scientists or religious wackos? Wackos... kinda sounds like "Waco"... No offense to Farmer. Anyway, evolution pawns, almost as much as I pawned the bio test.
