Top offensive player: Dwyane Wade. Maybe one day Michael Beasley will take D-Wade and its place in this category, but for now nobody fills better than Miami 's latest Olympic gold medalist.
Top defensive player: Shawn Marion. As one of the best of all players around the league Marion does many things, but the defense is a bit of a specialty for him. That will not be anything different in his first full year with the heat.
Top game: Dwyane Wade. We saw Wade contort his body to sink some of the most incredible shots in the league has seen in recent years. It takes one to be flying so close to the bucket, but once he is there he made pretty incredible things happen in traffic.
Top Clutch Player: Dwyane Wade. Is there someone else on this list who never take the last shot near a game? No way.
The player unexpected: Udonis Haslem. Each year, this kind of name is on the trading block, but it never ends up being moved. This is because the heat they need to know him much to let the person. He has been on this team more than almost anybody else, and the little things he does are extremely underestimated.
Best new addition: Michael Beasley. To be clear, James Jones and Yakhouba Diawara are also fine additions, but Beasley is probably the best talent in the rookie class of 2008. It will take a major impact immediately.
