Togetherness @ MindSay

Togetherness

As always, time slip by and we age, but the togetherness grows stronger. It had been a great ride down the road of life.

...where I end and you begin...

Where I end and you begin

Harmonies and rhythms

Merge with the heartbeat of God,

Om is heard.

Where I end and you begin

Still waters ripple,

A stream flows

From the sacred place.

Where I end and you begin

Fire is ignited.

Darkness turns to light

Shadows scatter

Secrets are revealed.

...where I end and you begin

Love decides.

...a journey through time...

I'm so sure of this...

Making love with you
would be like
falling off the face of the earth
together,

bodies and breath intertwined,

sensing the universe with our lips, our tongues, our eyes, our hands, our souls,
touching and clinging to each other
to remain
alive.

Sweet wild kisses that make us moan
moving us to places outside of time

deeper, deeper, and deeper still
pushing past the moon and stars

thrusts of passion forcing us to reach
the melting center of our desire
then spinning us out to the edges of eternity.

Now falling to earth again
plunging down, downn, downnn,
screams of ecstasy that shatter the sound barrier
the age barrier, the color barrier, the class barrier, the 'no' barrier,

until all that is left are warm, breathless, fragrant
slippery sensations
of temporary satisfaction.

Whitecaps on the Caloosahatchee
We had it planned all week. Snack on the river. Yep.

So, with the day overcast and with the possibility of rain, we packed a munch and a canned beverage each into Cartoon Ranger's insulated lunch box.  Piled into the car and drove to the riverbank.

It is apparently high tide, just now.  And the winds are between ten and twenty miles per hour, bringing whitecaps to the waves on the Caloosahatchee.  The water was reaching the grassy banks, overwhelming the sand entirely.

A gray sky makes for a gray and brown river, with seagulls over the water and pigeons nearer the hotels and restaurant near by.  CR and I watched as folks parked in the white-sand and shell lot and walked across the park to the restaurant that overlooked the river. The wind was just about blowing our lunchbox and munch-ems right off the table, it was so fun.

Sitting stationary in the wind was rather too chilly for my little guy (who was still dressed for school in shorts and polo shirt) so he climbed onto my lap and we sat together, talking about pigeons and the restaurant (a favorite of his, when we can go, because he likes to eat practically on the water) and the hotel (where his grandparents have stayed, and an aunt, on occasion) and the boats just behind us.

We had a perfectly lovely time.  Put our trash in the garbage can.  Walked along the grass with the wind blowing in our faces.  Got in the car and came home.

I am sitting here a very contented mommy. :)
