THIS WEEKS FINAL TRUCKING JOURNEY

Well yesterday we finally made it to Henderson , Co. to pick up our load of milk, what we find is one of the trailer tires has an inch long bolt in the middle of it,leaking out air but not real fast. This just gets my goat, they could of fixed the blasted tire been sitting on their lot over 3 hours, and they have a garage, they said the don't fix the tire, and our company don't use recaps on trailers so we had to fill the tire up with air and head on down the road till we got to a TA travel center , got to Limon Co. and had to wait 3 hours to get it fixed, there goes trying to get home early.

Now we are about 4 hours  out from home should be there between 1 and 2 today. Can't wait to get home, I know our yard will be in desperate need of a mowing which I will have to do this after noon in the heat of the day.

I am dreading going in to Springfield , Mo. tomorrow, I have a 2nd. mammogram and ultra sound scheduled at 9:45, I hope there is no cancer, they found a 'suspicious' nodule , so wish me luck with that!

I noticed this week that traffic  volumn  is down , I wonder if people really are finally understanding that this is a long term ordeal with fuel prices, we either are going to have to buy very good gas efficient vehicles, and /or stay home more.I also noticed that I haven't seen a single RV today, usually this time of year we see at least over 25 a day. I bet that puts a damper on RVsales and vacationing by RV.

Well I am oh so glad that this week is about over and I hope we will have a better trip next time.

have a happy day everyone

Slashed tire? WTF?
Can you believe that I have a slashed tire? It is highly unusual. We have no enemies around here. Last night we heard our upstairs neighbors arguing. They are new and we dont know them at all, really. It just seems odd that suddenly our tire is slashed. Not the one we had to replace, the one that is nearly bald. NOOOOOooo. It HAD to be the brand new back tire. GRRR. Thankfully, it was only one tire and none on the truck. I think it was a case of mistaken car syndrome in the darkness of the night. I swear fo' gawd we ever find out who did it, they are in deep trouble. Not just a lawsuit...I will have to hold my husband back first.

Our First Camping Trip

Here are pictures of our first camping trip of the year.  It wasn't that impressive but it gave the kids a chance to see their dad while he was gone for two weeks.

1.  Here is a picture of mine and Randy's tent.  I didn't dig out a second container so we had a bit of a mess with our things.  My other tent is down in OK in storage; so I had to buy a new tent.  I like it:D

2.  This is the kids' tent.  It is considered jr. two man tent.  Just like adult two men tents, it barely sleeps two!  Down the line I will buy another jr two man tent for them.  I have two adult two men tents that are on my tent in storage.  I think this tent is just to cute!

3.  This is Randy.  He just got off of work and drove out to get settled in for the weekend with us.  As you can see he wasn't too happy to be camping out or his picture being taken.  He got over it both!

4.  This is Dooley.  My great dane puppy!  Doesn't look like he likes pictures either.  Poor thing doesn't get to do much running while camping!

5.  This is a shot of the walking bridge to the west of the campsites.  It leads to baseball fields, archery and shooting ranges, and to a historical grave site.

6.  A picture of the coffee brewing at 6 am!  I forgot wood so it took longer over the coals!

7.  DeLaney and Coltin on our short little hike near the Blue River.  The Blue River runs through Crete NE but the bank was a good mile to the northeast of us and neither one of the kids wanted to hike that far.  So we did a small circle along the four wheeler/dirt bike trails. It ended up being a good mile by the time we were done anyway!

8.  DeLaney and Coltin standing on a tractor tire that is used for mud jumps when fourwheelers and dirt bike riders who bring their own ramps.  It also helps the local wild life by pooling water for them to drink.

9.  A picture of Randy's truck.  Most people mistake his truck for mine when they read "Pure Mischif!"  Like I would drive a Ford on a regular baises!  I only take it when I need more room!

10.  A picture of our truck and Randy's work truck.  They are the same year, same make, and same model.  But I will admit ours is nicer!

SNOW!

Right now it's snowing those huge icy pieces of snow tht you can hear hit the ground if you're quiet, awesome XD

I also made it to work in good time with my snow tires on (Blizzaks are the best!!  :D)

It'll be a good day to go shopping today because nobody will go out, but I will be bored at work until I get off :(

I'll have to light a candle in each room today, you'd be surprised how it lowers the energy bill if you do it regularly :D
