Tiger Woods @ MindSay
Tiger Woods is hurting, is suffering? WHAT? Prime time news "enlightens" us that something of great import needs to be addressed.
Never earned more than $40,000 a year in my life including four years in The United States Navy [three years "overseas" with about three-thousand hours of "hazardous duty" flight-time] and some several more civilian years out-side-of AUSPONA.
My "work-life" began long before I was graduated from Tecumseh High School in in Tecumseh, Michigan, AUSPONA.
Living now in Qingdao on the coast of China I contemplate my daunting, the very daunting and imminent return to Tecumseh, Michigan in the county of Lenawee. I am surly not hurting worthy of international concern and discourse about my plight in life. But, just as surly there are hundreds of thousands of stories of personal plight more noteworthy than Mr. Woods. I admire the man. I respect the man and his fine character and great accomplishments. Still...
The deaths of thousands of "Americans" in Iraq, New Orleans and ...

Any questions 'bout where I stand here, truthseekers? HUH?
greetings,
sorry for the long delay between blogs...things have been a bit busy at home with the baby and all...first order of business...today, august 13th, is my mom's birthday so happy birthday Mom!!! i wouldn't be who i am without her so thank you mom and i hope you enjoy your bday with many more to come!! i love you!
let me take you back to august 9th...my last blog...lots to talk about...mr. marvin passed by and he got his butt whooped by me in the nintendo Wii department! i was able to beat him twice in bowling and we tied in golf twice with both of us scoring a -1, which is amazing for a 9 hole golf match! hehe in baseball, i was able to win the first game and the second game we tied! it was very nice for mr. marvin to pass by! the Wii is truly an amazing piece of machinery with a very high addictive nature...so be careful when you play with the Wii...hehe
Friday, August 10th, was a great day...i was able to hang out with mr marvin once again...he invited me to the movies but only because he wasn't able to get a woman to go with him...so instead of wasting a pre-paid ticket, he invited me to see the movie, Rush Hour 3! We saw it at the Jersey Gardens Theaters in Elizabeth! I think those theaters are the best in the area compared to price and quality of the viewing...my friend Vee, who is a genius, always points out the pros and cons of decisions and seeing a movie in the Jersey Gardens was nothing but good stuf!! first off, you are paying $9.50 for a movie with a huge screen and with awesome surround sound and excellent seats! second, it doesn't get as crowded as, say, Edgewater Theaters...so whenever i go see a movie i would always try to see it at the jersey gardens!! with a prepaid movie ticket, i would go see the movie anywhere!! lol
so Rush Hour 3 was pretty good...it wasn't great but it was pretty funny...Chris Tucker is funny as always and Jackie Chan never looks old!! they guy is as old as dirt and he looks the same compared to his movies 10 years ago! He still does his stunts which is amazing at his age!! It is an unbelievable feat that I am shocked that it isn't in the news everyday...not a lot of celebrities do all their stunts....Jackie Chan does! and paired with Chris Tucker!! comic genius!! two totally opposite people...i mean you can't go more opposite than Chan and Tucker...and yet they make movie magic together!! if you are a fan of the first two movies, this movie is no different! Marvin complained that it was too short but whatever...i totally enjoyed the humor in the movie...
after Rush Hour 3, marvin couldnt stop telling me how awesome the 3rd Bourne movie was so with my 10 bucks in cash in my pocket, i bought myself a ticket for the Bourne Ultimatum!! From all my friends telling me great reviews and amazing action, i had to watch it for myself!! and the movie didn't disappoint...it was truly amazing and well worth the $9.50!! the movie was 2hours + but didnt feel like it with all the intense action and crazy adrenaline!! it is definitely a must watch movie!! the movie kinda makes me want to read the books! kudos for a great movie night!! haha
Saturday, August 11, was a prettty crazy day...with my mom's birthday, her friend's birthday soon after hers, my sister, mom, dad, mom's friend, and my cousins went to a club off of route 46...where was i?! well, i was home...why home?! well i was taking care of my sister's baby, JeanCarlos!! the party group left home at 830pm and they didnt get back until 3am, drunk and smiling! lol it seems that they had an excellent time...
my little brother (who was staying with me caring for the baby) and I did our best! the baby was sleeping for the first 2 hours then woke up and started crying like crazy!! after a few diaper changes, more food in his belly, and more crying...i was about to quit!! alas, help came in the form of my older brother and his wife! they came by at around 11pm and they surely helped us with the baby! after some more diaper changes, food distribution and more crying, i decided to pick up the baby from the bouncer and place him in my chest...right after that, he just passed out!! apparently, he loves it when us humans pick him up!! he went striaght to sleep on my chest! it was the coolest feeling in the world...sharing some time with the little one!! even though it was a handful, my little bro and i learned a lot about taking care of the baby!! my diaper changing skills definately improved and my heating of the milk formula got better...lol...but don't worry...no baby in the future for me just yet...i guess career first, then girlfriend (hopefully), then house, then kids!! ten years from now, lets see how that list went...lol...and yes, i do plan to blog for the next ten years at least!! hehe
sunday, august 12 was a nice relaxing day...i played with the baby for a little bit..actually a whole lot! ever since saturday's babysitting, my mom and sister have been trusting me with the baby more and more!! whenever the baby can't sleep, they call me to put him to sleep on my chest!! its amazing how the baby "remembers" me partly cuz of my glasses and to see him make that happy face is just a feeling that can't be described!! nothing but positives there!! i hope all of you who read this get to feel that type of feeling...nothing is grander...also sunday, i saw tiger woods' final round in the PGA major and he won!! he wont his 13th major which is incredible! the all time record is 18 and at 31 years old, he will def. shatter that record!!! Go Woods....i heard an incredible stat today...the 13 times Woods was leading the final round in a major, he won that event all 13 times!!! talk about the greatest sports closer EVER!!! he is truly amazing and there probably won't be anything like him in our lifetime, thats for sure...Tiger Woods Vs. Roger Federer!! who would have the most majors?! thats a great question and im looking forward to following both of their careers closely!! Tiger 13 majors at 31 yrs old...Federer 11 majors at 26 yrs old! whoa!! i might have to pick Federer because winning in golf is much harder than winning in tennis...thats what i think...feel free to agree of disagree...
Monday is mom's bday!! i did a lot of errands helping my my older brother and his wife...i drove both of them to work early, took care of the baby for a few hours, and basically bummed around waiting for my offer package from stryker orthopaedics!! nothing yet so far as of 11:44PM EST...hopefully tomorrow i can get that package, take the drug test, and hopefully start working on august 20th!! speaking of stryker, my future supervisor, Aaron Close, gave me a nice phone call! he heard today that I accepted the offer (i accepted it on friday but i guess news travels slow there) and he wanted to congratulate me and welcome me on board with his team! he was telling me that they might have to tie up some loose ends cuz of my quick employment (i will be working 10 days after i accepted their offer) so my computer might not be set up or i might not have a desk but i dont care!! i cant wait to start working with them!! also, he told me that the whole custom team on tuesday, august 21st, are having an off-site meeting so i will be meeting and catching up with everybody and some new faces as well!! man, i can't wait to start working...off-site usually means a team building event...like softball or crabbing!! lol i hope its one of those! hehe also i sent out emails to certain individuals at Stevens who have helped me get this far after college!! nothing like sending out those emails thanking them for all they have done!! their replies are awesome and i will hope to save those responses when i have a bummed out day to pick me up...hopefully those days aren't frequent
well, i have typed a lot trying to catch up on the days...sorry for the length of the blog...enjoy and hopefully i can blog again tomorrow! take care and god bless!
manny!!
I have posted negative entries about golf before but when I saw this today, well all I can say is that now I am a fan of Tiger Woods. Don't get me wrong, I doubt I will be taking up golf watching anytime soon but what he did today was pretty cool.
Tiger had an invitational today that was Fourth of July themed and included our service men and women. But what he did on number 7 was just plain cool. At No. 7, Woods asked Sgt. Michael Woods, the special guest caddie for the hole, to read a 12-foot birdie putt. Woods then handed the sergeant the club and said: "Here you go." The surprised and nervous sergeant sank the putt, Woods thrust his arms in the air, and the crowd went wild.
The video of this was just plain cool.
