Tibet @ MindSay

Got to love the Fucktards on Mindsay

Over all I love Mindsay.  But I have noticed that if you so much as voice an opinion that someone doesn't agree with 100% they label you as an idiot or worse.

And you can really tell those who have been influenced by the propganda of the world orgs and gov'ts.

They are all parinoid freaks if you don't agree with them on anything.

I responded to the Boycott the Beijing Olympics post.  Saying that yes they should be able to boycott it.  I also went on to say that my opinion is maybe outside gov'ts such as the US and UN need to start staying the fuck out of everyone else's business and that China is already saying they won't broadcast live events.  I dont' agree what is going on in Tibet, I dont' agree with the fact they may or may not broadcast but I also understand it isn't OUR gov't!

Not in all those words of course.

I had one person respond back going well the Tibet thing is a  far cray from blah blah blah blah.  I agreed and I pointed out that I said to boycot over the media!

Then jakerad a person I never read and never talk to and has NEVER been to my blog called me an idiot and blabbed off about how i am so thick that the string didn't go through the needle.

I just agreed because jakerad and anyone else who got their panties in a bunch over me not really giving a good gods fuck of why a country boycotting or my examples or the fact I said and STILL THINK IT that larger Super powered countries such as the US and UK and others need to stay the FUCK out of other countries gov'ts and what they do can KISS MY ASS!

Why get into an international incident by going, making a sene, and trying to get it broadcasted and possibly starting a massive War that currently the US and the UN Nations can NOT handle because they are all too busy fighting for a bunch of ppl's civil rights in the Middle East and are LOOSING!  The same ppl that have been fighting before and after Christ has been born and will ALWAYS fight!  We all know China is in the wrong for Tibet.  But I dont' see jakerad's sorry ass going over there to China or Tibet taking part of the protests.........of course not he is too busy calling me an idiot because I don't see eye to eye with every little thing they all think!

Well one idiot to another jakerad ..............I worry more about what is happening in my own country then I do others.  If that makes me a bad person so be it.   What makes you a shitty person is that you love to do your bitching and calling ppl names and you don't even know how to read the words written because your so hung up on being a parinoid drone of your gov't!

Will Some Countries Boycott the Beijing Olympics?
A brewing conflict in China has spurred French President Nicolas Sarkozy to imply that his country would consider a boycott of the Summer Olympics in Beijing.  According to the BBC:

“When asked about a possible boycott on a visit to the south-western Pyrenees region, Mr Sarkozy said: "All options are open and I appeal to the Chinese leaders' sense of responsibility …

… China says 19 people were killed by rioters and accuses the Dalai Lama of inciting the violence.

The Tibetan government-in-exile says at least 130 people have died in a crackdown by Chinese troops and deny any role in the protests.

Robert Menard, the director of the media rights group Reporters Without Borders, said he had asked Mr Sarkozy for a meeting where he will press for a boycott of the opening ceremony, though not a boycott of sports events.”

The conflict with Tibet adds to other concerns about China hosting the games – such as how they might censor media, including bloggers, in their coverage.  Do you think anyone will step up and boycott the Olympics?  Should anyone?

My Life - Poiitically

OK, if you don't like political stuff then turn away . . . now.

My rant today involves the deceit of the government of China. For two decades now, the chinese government have been trying to convince us in the 'west,' that they have moderated their policies and that the people of China are now more free and able to conduct business in the "western" fashion than  ever before.

The debacle of Tien-en-Mihn square all those years ago inspired a policy of "apparent change" which basically meant that the government of China would allow it's people to own businesses, travel and buy 'western goods' in order to make the nation appear more 'free'.

The overall image of modern China is one of openess and prosperity, welcoming the 'west' with open hearts. The truth is somewhat darker. The veneer of this modern openess is thin at best and when it cracks, we see that the real China isn't buried deep.

China is a repressive society, run by a power-grabbing minority who crontrol the press, the marketplace and every aspect of the individual citizen's life. The stated aim of the chinese government is the overthrowing of the free world and the total communisation of the planet. Do not be fooled, this is still their aim.

Recent events in Tibet have prompted people to remember the true nature of China and to ask the question: "should we boycott the Beijing Olympics?" The immediate response from the Chinese officials is:" But that only penalises the athletes." Well, they're right so I suggest that since the original Olympic games were predicated on the feats of individual athletic achievement, we should send our athletes as individuals, in the true olympic spirit. No national flags, just athletes.

As for you, the audience - I say don't spend your money going to the olympics, stay at home and watch the TV instead. Don't visit China, don't spend your money there. When they show us that they are truly civilised, by leaving Tibet to Tibetans, then we will welcome them to the international community as equals. Beware people, there are more snakes in the garden than you think. Islamic terrorists aren't the only ones we need to be wary of.

Another thing: Show your opinion with your cash, don't buy chinese goods!

Update / Dalai Lama
Life has been pleasantly busy these days, it and work at "the village" have kept me away from the computer a bit and more focused when I do get on line.
Today I was particularly touched by the fact that the Dalai Lama is in Toronto and will be addressing Toronto's Buddhist community tomorrow. That  he was bestowed with an honorary Canadian Citizenship in 2006 was also a lovely thing to be reminded of during his visit. I was sad to hear there were some who were displeased with Canada's respect and admiration for him.
I attended a ceremony at a Buddhist temple in Toronto many years ago and participated in chanting with a large group of people. My sensations of the experience were very enjoyable and memorable.

Of all the things to occur on a Halloween day I hadn't imagined such an occasion as a world revered monk talking about peace, love and joy and the need for respect for one another and human rights for all people. Wow! Compared to the material world and the wild and wonderful world of thrift-retailing; news of the Dalai Lama's visit is so reassuring for this soul!

Anyway - a quick update - I just wanted to note this... there's so much more going on to write about but I'm rather just enjoying the ride right now and might get a chance to write about it later! In the meantime my idea about team building went on hold as I try to wade through and organize where researching that topic took me!

Hard to believe October is almost over...

BOO!

Have a Happy Halloween !
