Another way I am stereotypically a chick.
4. I squee over fictional characters on my favorite TV shows when they wear golf clothes and have long-term plans and drink beer and make out with their girlfriends in the middle of the office as their co-workers do the "Bow-chicka-bow-wow" music and their boss creepily stares at them.

Speaking of boss, boy was Michael's douche meter dialed up in this episode. I wanted to punch him in the face. Though I did love this little number when Pam stood up to him: "You said, 'Pam, Pam, Pam, Pam,' then sneezed in my tea and said it doesn't matter 'cause it was just allergies. Do you remember that?" The mental picture on that one is great.

Hour-long season finale next week. Lotsa things to wrap-up here (Michael/Jan relationship, Toby leaving for Costa Rica, Dwight/Angela/Andy triangle, Jim/Pam proposal, cokehead Ryan...). Gonna be a good one!

*ahem* Anyway, we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

So Very Awesome!/ Ray and Sarah

Speaking of proposals, This morning my Dad called to tell me that my Cousin Ray finally popped the question to his girlfriend of almost ten years, Sarah. Of Course, she said yes! I'm very happy for them. Sarah's a wonderful women. We all knew it would happen eventually I mean she's practically already a part of the family. Now it will be official. I don't know if they've set a date yet.
I can understand why Ray waited so long. I mean, growing up his parents, my Aunt Rita and Uncle Ray, struggled to provide a good home for their children. Uncle Ray worked long hard hours in as a Pipe fitter while Aunt Rita went back to school to become a nurse. My Cousin waited 'til he had a good career and a home before he proposed to Sarah and they will have a great life together because he was wise enough to get all his ducks in a row.
I also am planning to take this route before I settle down and get married. I mean, right now I'm very young and just starting out my career. I have no idea where it will take me. I want to have a house and a good career before I worry about finding a women to spend it with. I want my future wife to know that she will have a man who is always going do him best for her.
But for now I'm gonna enjoy the single life.

CONGRATS RAY AND SARAH!!!

A Lame Joke is Cool Again
AllAroundPsycho:  T.B. has donuts.  Wanna go get one?

Coworker:  (while typing out an e-mail)  One second... I've just got to shoot this off.

AllAroundPsycho:  That's what she said.

Coworker:  (sighing)  I miss "The Office".

Woe.:
:( Jim was kind of a jerk in tonight's episode. I sense a character arc in the making for dear Mr. Halpert, but unfortunately it may be a while until we hit that arc. Next week's episode will be the last new episode to air until the strike is over.

As much as I'm on board with the whole striking thing, this... sucks.

I might have to actually get a life. =O

;)
