The big crime-boss. Or the Dutch Godfather. People have all names for him. Willem Holleeder. Born on 29 May 1958. In Amsterdam. And from there he built a kingdom. But not a normal kingdom. A criminal kingdom. He began young. When he was a young kid on school he already black-mailed kids and took money from them. Then he was with his partner-in-crime Cor van Hout. They kidnapped Freddy Heiniken (yes, the big boss of Heiniken), but escaped too France when other plans fails. Together Holleeder en Van Hout became members of the big criminal gang of Klaas Bruinsma. Bruinsma was called the Dominee. And he was the big shot in the crime-world then. But on 27 June 1991 Bruinsma is killed. Holleeder and Van Hout take over the 'bussiness'. But only then it really began. Holleeder and Van Hout moved too Belgium. And they met another criminal Sam Klepper. Klepper and Holleeder became partners. So criminals who became partners. They were real partners and had all kinda of criminal activities. And yet they had to make there biggest move. They made a kartel. A kartel of biggest criminals in the Netherlands. Willem Holleeder, Sam Klepper and John Mieremet joined together. Yet, they needed someone in the 'real' life instead of the 'criminal' life. They made a deal with Willem Endstra. One of the big hot-shots of the rich in the NetherlandsAnd they had big success. But I don't think Holleeder had enough of it....
In a busy shopping-centre in Amsterdam Sam Klepper is liquidated. Klepper one of the partners in crime of Holleeder. He's murdeded. Possible killer? Holleeder himself. At least according to Endstra. Yes, indeed the same Endstra who was the partner of Holleeder. Holleeder doesn't know that yet. But then a big article appears in de Telegraaf. In which Mieremet makes known that Endstra talked to the police and warned Mieremet about an possible assault on his life. Ok, so Holleeder was pretty pissed about that. But he black-mailed Endstra instead of killing him.
Cor van Hout is next. 24 Januar 2003. He was also killed in Amsterdam. And again according to Endstra, Holleeder is the killer. And that while Van Hout was married to the sister of Holleeder. But Endstra said that Holleeder said: "They cry a few weeks and then it's He didn't care how he hurted his sister, just as long as he hadn't a opossition.
Then a long time nothing happens. Holleeder made his 'kingdom' bigger. He makes contacts with other peoples. Laywer Evert Hingst, George van Kleef (a criminal) and Kees Houtman. Houtman and Van Kleef were friends. But Van Kleef helps Holleeder and black-mails Houtman. And altough Houtman gave complains too the police nothing helped. Houtman had a few conversations with Holleeder. And the police tought it was right...but not according to Endstra. But yet, Endstra couldn't warn Houtman.
May 2004. Endstra is now known as 'the bancer of the underworld'. Endstra denies everything in a televisionprogram. Two days later Endstra is murdered. Now Endstra can not warn anyone anymore. It's over. Police does have is testimonies. But they doesn't use them. Untill...november 2005.
Only Mieremet and Holleeder are alive from the big kartel which was formed. Mieremet flees to Thailand. He knows that his life is in danger. That evening Kees Houtman is liquidated. And...Mieremet too. Both probarly an assigement from Holleeder. But because Houtman was 'loved', his friends wanted revenge. So eight days later on 10 november 2005 Van Kleef is murdered. Because they think he took the assigment from Holleeder. But Holleeder wasn't touched. In January 2006 finnally Holleeder was arrested. Because of Endstra. Yes, Endstra was killed, but his conversation were saved. These 'Endstra-tapes' are the proof for the case against him. But the laywer of Holleeder, Moszkowicz, denies that these tapes are proof. They are not good. According to him no-one has to be afraid of Holleeder. Holleeder isn't behind all these murders. Is Moszkowicz a new partner of Holleeder? Well, if you read back what I wrote, you all know what happens to the partners of Holleeder. And Holleeder himself? He will not go to jail. He has enough contacts, enough money and his laywer is 'good' enough. Holleeder is untouchable at the moment and he will be, untill he is killed. And for now, that won't happen.
What is the world going to today? Politicians aren't populair in own country. So when the next elections are they are voted away by the inhabitants of their country. But what does everyone on the next elections? Voting the people the voted away!! Like now in the USA. President Bush is at the moment very impopulair. But weren't the Americans the one who voted from? Instead of John Kerry? And now they complain. Apart from them complaining. I don't think you have a right to complain if you didn't vote. I don't know how that is in other country's. But I know in the Netherlands it's not obligated. In Belgium it is. But what's the danger with that? Well...people will vote just something. People are unhappy so they vote nonsense politicians or they vote the ones others voted for. And that can be very dangerous. If too many people do that it can give politicians to much power, while they not deserve it. Well back to the Bush-case. Now people who voted on him say: "I shouldn't voted on him, I should have voted for Kerry". Well, you should have tought about it when you voted. Many people now say: "Kerry could have solved the problems Bush created". Is that so? Wouldn't he have the same problems. Would he have herritage of Bush? And then the country would have bigger problems. So they should have all voted for Bush. And Americans, only like 2 years and then you are rid of him.
We travell to another place on the world. Italy. Silvio Berlusconi was recently voted away there. The left politicians won in favor of the right ones of Berlusconi. Berlusconi accused his opponent of forging votes etc. But I think mister Berlusconi forgot something. He changed the laws the last seven years so that he got the power. He owns a soccerteam, he owns all the televisionstations and yet he's voted away. But...only around 68% of the Italian people voted. So was he really voted away? Cause the difference where very close. 49% for the left ones and 46% for Berlusconi. So? Would the other percentage voted for Berlusconi? Or would they give a greater victory to left? And what if left makes mistakes? Who is to blame? Left? Berlusconi? The voters? Eventually you could say the voters. They chosen a different course to do. And so left got the heritage from Berlusconi. And that isn't small. Berlusconi is deep in to everything. There are even rumors he has ties with mob. But I don't go that far. The voters who voted for left and the ones who didn't vote are responsible for this.
Don't get me wrong, yes, there should be voted. And no I am not saying there should be a dictatorship everywhere. No, hardly. I am a big fan of democracy. And I graped every chance to vote. I voted for the goverment here. The community ones but also the main one of the Netherlands. And I am always in the same kinda angel. And I complain when the ones I didn't vote for do wrong. And what if someone I voted for does something wrong? I sigh and slam myself in the head. Why did I vote for them? But I don't complain. I accept the 'responsibility'. And how is that with you? Most people I know are complaining, complaining and complaining. Ok...vote next time. But don't complain after. After all it's your own choice.
If people come to live in the Netherlands, they need to take a test. To see if they 'fit' here in the Netherlands. Now did we have a lesson about the minority's in the Netherlands. And so, also about this test. A lot of facts and numbers. Intresting and boring at the same time. I am actually typing this entry during this lesson...Yeah, bad me. But good. It was about those minorty's. And we eventually came at the test. Then it suddenly was said that test was online. I tought: "Hey, that's intresting, let's take the test". So I surfed to the website of the newspaper AD (Algemeen Dagblad) and there I made the test. Some questions I knew others I didn't. After 100 questions my mark came out. The teacher also did and he got a 5,2. Another student also got this mark. I guess I am 'better' cause I had 84 questions right. So my mark was 8,4. So I am could be a good people who wanted to live the Netherlands. I am on my place in the Netherlands. I am a good Dutchman. :).
NOTE: I just noticed something, but I don't know how to do that? It's 8,4 a mark, but isn't the , and the . switched around in England etc? So it should be 8.4 I know with big number like thousand it's a , then. So it's 1,000 then. And when the temprature is twenty-five point six (speaking it already says it) it's a . but is that with marks also? I would be a bad Englishman.
