Derrek Lee To Appear On ER
Finally, two of my favorite things are coming together.  Chicago Cubs' first baseman Derrek Lee is going to be on an episode of ER this season.  In the episode, John Stamos's character grants a little boy with a terminal illness his big wish--the chance to meet Derrek Lee.

In exchange for Lee's appearance on the program, ER will run an episode this season about a patient with Leber's Congenital Amaurosis, or LCA, which causes blindness.  It is the same disease that Lee's daughter was diagnosed with last year.

Everything Comes Down To Poo

I am so psyched for tonight's episode of Scrubs.  They're doing a musical episode, which I think will either be really awesome or not too good.  But I'm hoping it will be awesome.

It sounds good:

Working with one of the series’s medical advisers, Dr. John Doris, Ms. Fordham built a story around a patient who is found to have an aneurysm that causes her to hear music...

In total, 19 of the show’s 23 minutes are musical, and the musical styles have been made to fit each character, from the Gilbert-and-Sullivan-like patter sung by John C. McGinley, who plays Dr. Perry Cox, to the heartwarming “Guy Love,” sung by Zach Braff and Donald Faison, whose characters, J. D. and Turk, are the best-friend physicians at the center of the show.

And it looks good:

Stamos Admitted to "ER"

County General is becoming a veritable full house.

John Stamos has signed on as a series regular on ER, reprising the role he tried out during a guest stint on the NBC show last fall.

Stamos had been in negotiations for the past month to make his full-time return as Tony Gates, a flirtatious med school student-paramedic who also happens to be a Gulf War vet. According to E! Online TV columnist Kristin Veitch, the hitch was the up-in-the-air status of Stamos' ABC sitcom, Jake in Progress.

Televison & Books
Hmmm.... Why on earth do we pay $40 + for cable when we watch it like an hour a day. I really don't get it because it's not like we coudn't get most of the channels that we normally watch for FREE with a freakin' antenna. Instead of wasting time watching tv, I could be reading a book or something. Actually, I shouldn't be reading my book because there isn't that much left and I want to save it for free reading on Friday. BOOKS! Omg I love books. I ordered like 5 or 6 books off of amazon.com. It's really cool being able to get a book for like $2 instead of $20, even though shipping and handling is $3.49 usually. la la... BOOKS!
