I honestly dont care about your background. I wont hold anything against you because of your religion. I dont care how much or how little money you have. I dont mind if your parents are going to pester us about every little thing because im up for a challenge. I could say a lot more but i dont think anybody will even make it to round 2 so i wont say anthing else... yet.
In today's world, it is believed that all real scientists believe in evolution. This belief is shouted from every rooftop, but could not be further from the truth. It's a myth. Many people are stunned to find out that there are thousands of qualified, professional and practicing scientists who are adamant that the truth of origins as given to us by the Creator in the book of Genesis is true. The truth of origins being a miraculous creation in six 24 - hour days; a global, earth destroying flood; and a universe that is thousands, not billions of years old.
In my previous blog I listed many of the early scientists, who held this belief. You can see from their achievements that most achieved great breakthroughs in their fields. For example Matthew Maury, the "pathfinder of the sea" read in the Bible in Psalm 8:8 "...whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas." Believing what he read, he set out to discover these paths and dedicated his life to doing just that. He charted the winds and currents of the Atlantic and was, to all intensive purposes, the founder of the modern sciences of hydrography and oceanography. In this blog I will continue with the more modern scientists who believed the biblical creation account.
1. Edward H Maunder - 1851 - 1928 - prominent British astronomer, in charge of solar department at Greenwich Observatory, the outstanding authority on solar astronomy of his day
2. William Mitchell Ramsay - 1851 - 1939 - archeologist - converted to Christianisty because of his extensive digs in Asia Minor, the discoveries of which confirmed fully the historical statements the book of Acts.
3. A. H. Sayce - 1845 - 1933 - archeologist whose studies contributed to the vindication through archeology of historical sections of the Old Testament; expert on the Hittites, originally thought to be a myth
4. John Ambrose Fleming - 1849 - 1945 - recognized as the father of modern electronics, devising the first electron tube; a consultant for Thomas Edison and Marconi; professor of Electrical Engineering for 40 yrs.
5. George W"ashington Carver - 1864 - 1943 - agricultural chemist considered world's top authority on peanuts and sweet potatoes and their products; developed over 300 products from the peanut and 118 from the sweet potato.
6. Charles Stine - 1882 - 1954 - organic Chemist, Director of Research for the E. I. duPont Company, developing many new products and patents for his company
7. William Ramsay - 1852 - 1916 - chemist, co-discoverer of argon & other inert gases; discoverer or terrestrial helium on earth leading to the study of radioactive decay processes
8. Wernher von Braun - 1912 - 1977 - top space scientist; leading German rocket engineer developing the V-2 rocket during WW2; directed U.S. guided missle development; director of NASA; quote " manned space flight...has opened for mankind...a tiny door for viewing the awesome reaches of space. An outlook through this peephole at the vast mysteries of the universe should only confirm our belief in the certainty of its Creator."
9. Sir William Abney - 1843 - 1920 - president of Royal Astronomical Society and the Royal Physica Society; identified interstellar molecules through studies of spectronscopic absorption.
10. L. merson Davies - 1890 - 1960 - Ph.D. & D.Sc. in geology; a working geologist and paleontologist for 30 years; published significan articles in geological journals
11. Sir Cecil P.G. Wakeley - 1892 - 1979 - Surgeon Rear Admiral in WW2; professor of Surgery in the University of London' President of Royal College of Surgeons
In the 20th century most scientists were a different breed than that of the great pioneers whose careers I have mentioned. The numbers of scientists had increased greatly, and were largely indoctrinated in evolutionism in their schooling. They worked on large team, government-sponsored projects, with each becoming highly specialized in a very small field. The number of real breakthroughs, new fields, and broad discoveries benefitting mankind were not as great as previously demonstrated even though the technological level of society continued to advance. "This fact makes the high correlation of such breakthroughs with the names of the great Bible-believing scientists of the past seem even more significant." Men of Science, Men of God. pg. 90

Ive always wanted to club a baby seal. But since i dont live near any and never will then it'll never happen. Im not sure why. Who cares though? Maybe P.E.T.A. but pinkos dont count. Why do people always talk in a stupid voice around babys or fluffy little animals? Its not cute or funny. Infact i wouldnt be surprised if the baby was laughing at you on the inside while wondering why some jerk with bad breath wont go away.
Im going to make a band called The The's. Yeah so theres allready a band called that but we'll be better because we'll sound exactly like The Killers and just add saxophone player to be edgy and more talented so VH1 gives us a tribute after 2 months of miming at all of our shows and we'll even get our own talk back/reality show where we will help the youth of today and tell them winners dont do drugs. Only rich winners.
Jenny came very close to starting a fight at the bar on Friday night. I have shit to do so Ill keep this short...or it will be a bit longer with more mistakes...Whatever. We are sitting over by the dart board, still drinking after playing a few rounds. We had seen 2 kids in the bar right away when we got there & here they were again 3 hours later. Still without a parent in sight, the 7(?) yr olds are now terrorizing the dart board. Jenny turns around & says "excuse me" One of the kids says "who me?" & Jenny says "Yeah, you. Where are your parents?" Im thinking OMG, Jenny, shut up! She starts telling them if she was there mom she would be watching them a little more closely & she wouldnt have them in a bar @ 8:30 around all these drunk people swearing...blablabla. I actually reached my hand around in an attempt to cover her mouth. Jenny shut up! The kids took off & we joked about them bringing their parents back. Kathy wasnt having any of this so she stood up, put on her coat & said Im outta here, I dont need any trouble.
It approaching 9, legally these kids have to be outta the bar & you can see them getting ready to leave about 5 ft to our right. They are looking over in our direction as one of the kids is all worked up describing something to his Mom. Oh great, get ready cause here it comes. All of a sudden, 6" to my left is a angry, butch mom. Shes after Jenny though so its all good....lol. I joke but I was seriously thinking to myself of all the ways this situation could fold out. There was another smaller woman standing behind her but she stayed quiet. The bigger one says "Do you have a problem with my kids?" & Jenny lets it fly, "yeah, I do. They are in a bar unsupervised & they are trashing the dart board. If these were my kids..." The woman says "By law, they can be here til 9 & you shouldnt be saying fuck & ass in front of them" & Jenny started in again. I cut Jenny off & said "ma'am, we asked where their parents were because they were a little out of control" & she cut in & said "yes, ok I understand that, but the swearing..." I cut her off & said "this is a bar & people have been drinking. They will hear swearing although I agree she shouldnt have said that to them directly" Then Jenny piped in again, they exchanged a few more words. In rebuttal Jenny just said "have a good night" like 3 times, to say this conversation is over. As they are walking away, Tom is shaking his head & kinda laughin at Jenny's stupidity. The quiet girl stopped & turned around. Jenny immediatly said "What? You gotta problem with him now?" (OMG Jenny! you really ARE trying to start something!) She mutters her husband might have a problem. Freakin great.
To wrap things up, the husband never came walking round that corner. I think we stayed another 45 mins or so & then went our seperate ways. Early night. I guess Jenny had to get up in the morning & Tom was out late for St Patricks day but he still wanted to go home & work out?? weirdo.
Justin called to say he was buying some new shoes but he didnt like the ones at store A so he was heading to store B. That gave me a little extra time to share the Friday night drama.
Get home Justin!! I wanna play with my new toy!!!
