1. Was your first born planned? yes and it took 2 years of trying til we got it right ;)
2. Were you married at the time? yeppers.
3. What were your reactions? I threw up ALOT! But I was EXCITED (in between trips to the porcelain god)
4. Was abortion an option for you? NEVER!!!
5. How old were you? 23
6. How did you find out you were pregnant? doctors office blood test
7. Who did you tell first? My friend who took me to get the test, then my mom, then my hubby.
8. Did you want to find out the sex? no
9. Due date? April 29, 1983
10. Did you have morning sickness? And afternoon sickness, and evening sickness, for all 9 months.
11. What did you crave? Lay's potato chips (originals)
12. Who/what irritated you the most? My Ob/Gyn.......he was an a$$hole!
13. What was your first child's sex? all GIRL :D
14. Did you wish you had the opposite sex of what you were getting? Nope! She was gorgeous (still is)
15. How many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy? lost about 20, then gained about 25 back pounds
16. Did you have a baby shower? yes
18. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? Just the extreme morning sickness and 2 weeks before I had her I dislocated my jaw! (was fun watching all the doctors get all freaked out thinking I would go into labor with a dislocated jaw.)
19. Where did you give birth? In a hospital of course ;)
20. How many hours were you in labor? 36 hrs Labor wanted to push and the a$$ didn't want to let me, a nurse came in behind him and told me to ignore him and to start pushing (Now ya know why I love nurses)
21. Who drove you to the hospital? My hubby.
22. Who watched you give birth? Hubby, and an assortment of nurses, the doctor, no one else.......(oh, look honey, up in the mirror, there's her little head!!! WTF....EXCUSE ME ASSHAT, I'M A LITTLE BUSY PUSHING A CABBAGE PATCH DOLL THROUGH MY VA-JAY-JAY!)
23. Was it natural or c-section? Considering she came out the hole she was supposed to, I suppose it was natural! Although, when you think of it, whoever termed it "natural" obviously never gave birth!
24. Did you take medicine to ease the pain? As much as they would give me!
25. How much did your child weigh? 6lbs. 15 oz.
26. When was your child actually born? May 4, 1983 4:28 p.m.
27. What did you name the child? Kimberly Ann
28. How old is your first born today? 25 and 3/4

In any event, here are 10 random things you probably didn't know about me: - I refuse to wear socks that don't match
- I get very irritated when perishable food items are left out for more than a minute or two
- The very first web site I started was about the Atlanta Braves and hosted on Geocities (1996 maybe?)
- My grandfather was at one point the record holder for the fastest 100 yard dash in Pennsylvania state history
- Despite starting a blog site, I prefer to keep most of my personal thoughts fairly private
- When I was about 4, losing my stuffed animal monkey was the most devastating event in my life. I had a flashback when I was around 7 and cried hysterically.
- Brian came up with the name MindSay. I wanted to call the site "blog2it". Good call, Brian
- I've never eaten a Whopper or a Big Mac
- I drink my coffee with milk, no sugar
- My childhood sports hero was Gary Carter of the New York Mets. After he left, I became a Braves fan!
Ever wonder if your an idiot or not? Well I don't have to wonder anymore! I am an idiot! Two years since I have played ball, have bad knees with my right knee in a bad need of being total reconstructed, six months into being recently dignoised with Type 2 diabetes and what do I do? I slide into 3rd base and tore up my thigh!
Pretty isn't it! I am actually quite proud of that scrap or what ever you call it! I hit a line drive right down the middle of left and rover that hit the fence. Would have been nice if I had a base coach to tell me to run from second or third though! I am one of these folks that just run! I almost made it but rover on the other team had an arm and the third basemen just tagged my toe before I hit the base!
We lost both games but thankfuly my friend Cindy's dad is the coach and a back up player like her mom and he tells those who think they are going to be die hard about it to get over it and we are out there to have fun! They make fun of me cause I go out to catch with a cig in my mouth and I go up to bat with a cig in my mouth. I took my medicine on the way up so I couldn't have a beer but I still shouldn't have taken it!
I am glad I informed Cindy and her sister Shannon who also played that I was diabetic and I wasn't sure what playing softball would do to me. My body is use to the taekowndo and walking so my sugars don't fluxate when I do those things but I wasn't sure what they would do playing ball.
The first game I subbed and was a hitter. My knees swelled and were hurting but not so bad. The second game I caught and hit. That is when I got my hits and had to run the bases. I came home twice and tagged out once and the fourth time I was benched because between my knees and tearing up my thigh; another highschool classmate ran to the concession stand for me to grab me a candy bar. I started shaking and going woosy but I ended up having to hit because one of the back up wives that subbed in for me got out of batting order, I jacked it right at the second baseman and he threw me out. Nobody held it against me. Well one of the other highschool classmates of mine tried to get onery but my brother's highschool classmate that was pitching told her off and she went home early.
After the games, they asked me if I wanted to go to one of the all night reasturants but I thought it was best that I got the kids home to bed. Primo (the pitcher) and his wife followed me home to make sure I didn't have an accident because my sugars dropped so low and even after the candy bar they were low. It really wasn't out of their way instead of taking one highway home they just followed me and made a circle back to their hiway by 5 miles.

The second picture is of it all cleaned up after soaking for about a half hour. Sorry for an almost ass shot! That is what you get with an 8 year old taking the pictures!
I made my girl stay up to take the pictures and help me banage it up. I ended up taking a couple of my pain pills for my gallbladder because hell even sitting hurts! I took my sugars again and ended up having to eat the rest of my steak from last night and drinking another soda.
I am such an idiot! I am a 30 year old woman who is going to have to realize my body gave up on me over 3 years ago! Or I am just going to have to get my knee done and work my way back up from walking to running. If I play anymore ball I am going to have to cut the sliding out!

6 Weird Things About Me
1. I always peel the labels off of everything from water bottles to anything bottled with a label.
2. I am very organized, but when it comes to my room, I could care less. Also, I never make my bed, unless my Mom tells me that she is showing off my room to someone, then I will. Other than that, it's always unmade.
3. I talk to myself in my head a lot. I'm always thinking about things to myself.
4. I take deep pride in being a John Mayer fan. I will never let anyone stand in my way of being a fan. It may be weird for someone to feel so strongly about this, but I believe in it. [yeah.. i've been called weird and stupid on many occasions on being his fan!]
5. I hate washing dishes. I do it, because it's something I am in change of in my house, but I hate doing it. The only time I enjoy it, is when Genio is at my house, and massaging my back.
6. I can never remember the position I fall asleep in. I always try to tell myself, remember how I fell asleep, but I NEVER remeber!
