Super Bowl @ MindSay

The Denny's Grand Slam giveaway...proof that free stuff is out there!

You saw the commercial during the Super Bowl this past Sunday.  You saw the news reports on Tuesday of folks lining up around the block to get their free Grand Slam breakfast at Denny's.  Hey, you might have been one of those people pictured below in freezing temperatures in line for a free breakfast.

Truly is this promotion evident of the power of advertising.  The word "Free" doesn't hurt either.  Perhaps Denny's promotion will help their business in the long run, especially in these uncertain economic times.

Unfortunately, most companies don't have an advertising budget that allows them to spend 3 million on a 30-second Super Bowl ad.  And if they're offering something for free, they will most definitely not spend millions regardless of what the overall outcome might be.  As a result, most freebies go largely unpublished and unadvertised.

But other freebies are out there.  Companies that offer them at any given time don't mind the attention drawn to them via a site like Freebie Force (saves on advertising).  As a member, you don't have to settle for the rare freebie like a six dollar breakfast.  Quite a number of freebies listed every day exceed that value.  And all are pre-screened so you don't have to "jump through hoops" involving costly "participation" requirements like those banner ads you may have seen for "Free PS3/Laptop/etc."  Furthermore, there's no "Buy One Get One Free" nonsense; every free offer that crosses the desk at the home office in Denver is pre-screened to make sure the offer is truly free!

So if you endured the madness of 2/3/09 at Denny's and got your free breakfast, great!  You can get freebies every day now if you join Freebie Force (and yes, the occasional free meal does get listed).  If you decided to stay home like I did, I don't blame you!  I don't do long lines if I can help it!  But if you want to get freebies without having to stand in line, Freebie Force is for you, too!

So why not get more than a six dollar breakfast?  Freebie Force is waiting for you now!  Just go to http://www.all4nada.com for more details!

Thanks for reading!  God bless!

First 3-D Commercials To Air During Super Bowl
Time to grab your 3-D glasses!

The first commercial going into half time will also be the very first 3-dimensional TV commercial in bowl history.

It's a 90 second trailer for the upcoming movie Monsters Versus Aliens. Another commercial for SoBe Lifewater will also air in 3-D.

"It's fun. It's unique, that's it. Everybody is going out trying to find the glasses," said Hank Sorrick of Pixel Lightening Productions, Inc. "You're definitely going to have the audience. Billions of people around the world watching the Super Bowl.

Are You Ready for some football????

Well, peeps, tomorrow is Uncle John's birthday party and Grandma's going to throw him a surprise birthday party. We are also going to watch the Super Bowl as well.  So John has no reason to suspect a thing.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  He's not stupid and he, HOPEFULLY, knows Grandma.  He told everyone not to tell the Red Robin employees that it was his birthday.  What happened?  Grandma told them it was his birthday....I was ready to throttle her.  I don't know who was more embarassed, me or John.  *buries her face in Jake's shirt*  Why do I have a feeling John's not going to be happy?

He doesn't want to be reminded that he's turning 50, so he told Lanette that he didn't want any big houplah (did I spell that right?) or surprise bash.  Grandma, however, took him for a challenge....   I just hope that he won't get mad at Lanette and think that she did it.

 Question for you guys:

Aunt Lanette wants to decorate the house with, Over the Hill stuff.  Grandma, me and Mom disagree.  Do you think that Lanette's idea is cruel?

John specifically said that he doesn't want to be reminded that he's turning fifty.  What do you think?

Yes, I'm gonna take pictures.   I want to see John's reaction to this.

I'll probably be on the day after tomorrow.  Wish me luck!

Cardinals Win!
Yes!  The Arizona Cardinals won!  They're going to the Super Bowl!  I'm hoping for a Cardinals vs. Ravens game, with the Cardinals winning.  It's about damn time they get a championship.
