ROLL UP, ROLL UP!

Everyone loves Katamari. :P
I took my PS2 along to nana's today. I was hoping they'd stopped being pricks about the whole personal message thing - and it does seem that they have done. Thank fuck for that.
While I was there, nana played Solitaire and I talked to her while I alternated between We Love Katamari, Parappa The Rapper 2 and Guitar Hero II.

I've managed to complete PTR2 on easy and medium difficulties - and I'm up to the last level on hard. It's a pain in the arse though. I hate leading the song, I always cock up my timing beyond what's acceptable.
And with the completion of the last basic Katamari missions - I was able to finally ROLL UP THE SUN.
I actually didn't think I'd manage it, but all seemed to go well - and I watched the sexy credits. I've unlocked some extra levels too. Now I've BEATEN it, I'm going to MASTER it - by getting all the items, presents, cousins and a hell of a lot more speedy comets. :D

When I came home, mam and I watched a few discs of Desparate Housewives and ate Hula Hoops together. We were awake until like 1 in the morning, so I was knackered - thus making it fairly easy for me to get to sleep. :)

I've decided to change my idea of what to get Shelly for her birthday.
I've declined the idea of GH action figures - namely because they've like tripled in price since the last time I looked them up - but I'm not writing my idea here - I don't know if Shelly still reads this from time to time. We can't be having the surprise spoiled, now can we? :P

Random thoughts
I saw moths dancing in the rays of sunlight in the graveyard today among the trees. It was quite beautiful. I enjoyed the walk around the oh so familiar place. It feels very alive there not dead. I always say a few words at some of the graves even though there is no relation to me. I like to be a visitor for the no longer visited. I often feel as if there are spirits listening back. Maybe there are? who knows. Sometimes I certainly feel as if I do feel and sense spirits.

It's hard to always know what to believe and if you can believe your senses, your heart, particularly in this world of solid facts and closed minds. Where a mundane answer for everything is always what is sought. It's sometimes difficult to know what really is real or what is beautiful make believe. I'd love to know for sure or maybe I wouldn't, maybe I wouldn't get the answer I desire. I want to believe... oh never mind. I'm just tired and a bit stressed.

(Oh, and my 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' DVD's arrived today. *does the fangirl squee* 4 DVD's, 13 episodes and a booklet with 94 pages and some amazing pictures. I Love Jeremy Brett! <3)

Well.....

Well, I resemble a lobster in complexion, I damn well nearly glow-in-the-dark. But damn it was worth it.

The airshow was magnificent. Had a look through the static displays for a couple of hours, then the flying started and I, like the rest of the crowd sat for hours watching new and old flying for all they were worth.

The F-111 was a showstopper as usual, even though its signature move is nowhere near as impressive in daylight hours. Buy for me the star of the show was the formation of 4 F/A-18 Hornets.

But the biggest lesson to learn from my day on the tarmac.....

Don't put pasty white geeks in direct sunlight.

Random, Inexplicable Things
1) An Elvis Costello 'Greatest Hits' CD that lacks the song 'Veronica' on it.  What is that?  It's kind of like the Queen Greatest Hits we bought several years ago that didn't have 'Bohemian Rhapsody' on it, but that was a bootleg thing we got for about 5 dollars.  This Elvis CD is legit-produced.

2)  Why it can't go more than a day without raining or being otherwise shitty out up here.  What's wrong with sunshine during summer?

3) How did it look like a normal hotdog with mustard on it, but it was one of the worst meals of my life?  I mean, all 3 aspects of it, the bun, the dog itself, and the mustard on it, were all terrible.  On a side rant, I hope I go the rest of my life never even SEEING another one of those hotdog buns that just looks like a folded piece of white bread; that might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

4) Why it looks like someone shaved a small area near my cat's butt between yesterday and today.  It's a tiny little section of hair missing, but it is definitely missing.  Who shaved Jackson's butt?
