I'm trying to defeat these monsters and it's so laggy I get killed without even having a chance to fight back.
Fuck you, you stupid computer. You overheat with 30 minutes of surfing the internet, or just 10 minutes of playing that.
And thus this is the start of my actual "update".
I'll hopefully have a computer by Christmas. I'm getting a second job soon and that should really help speed things along. I'm most likely getting a job at a subway. I'm a shoe-in due to the fact both my brothers work at different subways, and if I get hired I'll be working at a different one than both of them. Haha. (I feel like such a mooch-I got my library job because of Mike and I'll get subway from both my brothers D:)
Don't get me wrong, the library is good, but even during the summer I only work 3 days a week for 10 hours a week: two days for 3 hours and one for 4. And during the school year it's one evening shift (4 hours) and one weekend morning shift (3-4 hours). So obviously in order for me to save up for a laptop by Christamas I would need to save every penny, which, trust me, wouldn't happen. So I need to get another job, and it should fit in pretty good.
Speaking about money, some events are coming up in which I'll be spending the last of my money on: the street fair, and kita kon. The street fair is first: it's in 3 days, and my library is selling books and a bunch of other shops are selling things as well. Luckily I don't have to work during the street fair, aha. I've caught the shopping bug lately and god knows I'll be buying at least a few items. I'm actually looking forward to that, however.
The second event is Kita Kon (anime convention). Right away, I have to spend 20 dollars just to be registered, and thats about 1/4 of the money I have in my bank account (blame the shopping bug, aha). However, I haven't read alot of anime, and I'm not big into buying books, so I shouldn't spend that much. (Why BUY books when I can just take them out for free at work? And even if none of the libraries in T-bay have them, I can always do inter-library loans, or just read manga off the internet for free!).
I figure since all I have is $80, I'll have a cap of $40 for the street fair, and whatever is left over will be used for Kita Kon. Whatever is left over will be added to my next expenses.
(Random note: Isnt it ironic that I started out this blog talking about SAVING money and in the last few paragraphs I just talked about how I'm going to spend my last $80? I'm a confusing person, but hopefully below should explain it a little)
I'll have my next paycheck just before school starts (september 1) and I'm thinking about getting my hair done professionally. This is kinda a big deal to me since I haven't gone to a salon since the 9th grade (going into grade 12 now) but mainly because of my trichotillomania. My bald spots are worse since I've posted the last pic, But I'm thinking I would stop pulling so much if I liked my hair a little more. I used to have black hair, but I bleached it in april, so my hair from the crown. goes:
roots (dark)
-blonde
-light brown
-medium brown
and in some spots its still black.
It looks very nice when I first did it, but now it looks gross. I absolutely hate almost everything about my hair (its thin, bald spots, limp...) and this shitty colour isn't helping. I'm hoping to get it back to my natural colour, but I'm NOT getting it cut. I'm going to make that clear to whoever does my hair, since it's taken me a year and a half to grow less than a foot.
I'm just hoping the hairdresser is very good (had a friend who got a very bad colour treatment last year) and understanding.
Anyways I've bored the crap out of anyone who has read this far, so I'm going to leave it at that for now. Byes for now.

Well, I just got back from lunch with my youth pastor. Went to Subway. XD Not that that's a bad thing, I like Subway. It was a good time, although we never really talked about anything much. I insisted we should do it again.
Again, a relaxing day. Not much to update on, really... I'm going to probably start another book tonight. I love reading at night. It gives me an extra, added thrill before I go to sleep. But there's the disadvantage of getting sucked in and not getting to bed because I can't stop. I like reading because I enjoy where it takes my mind to, and characters soon become a 'part' of me.
I'm going to start reading Kiss by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy tonight. I got few the first fifty pages or so into that book, then I got caught up in Much Ado About Nothing - which I now finished - and due to that, I'm going to start Kiss over.
I'm going to organize some school supplies I'm going to use for the upcoming semester soon, too. ^^ I also downloaded Yahoo Messenger today and... Yeah. I dunno. There's nothing to talk about. XD
I've been getting these small 'cravings' to watch 'The Prince of Egypt' again. I've downloaded a few songs from the soundtrack last night. It's such a wonderful movie, and has such an epic soundtrack...
Another fact about me...
I LOVE watching broadway - plays or musicals (although musicals, I find, are a little more fun), and if we're studying them for school or something, I get OBSESSED with whatever play we're doing... Soon I end up downloading soundtracks to the musical, or doing extensive research to that play. My favourite play/musical is 'Phantom of The Opera' by Andrew Lloyd Webber. I studied and went to see it in Toronto for a final Grade Eight field trip, and I feel absolutley in love with it...

So lastnight prettymuch panned out like this. Found out my lady-friend, whom I like dearly, was comming down fromthe cities and crap. We saw eachother for like... 10 minnutes. Awesome. *swoons* Gawsh I love her. I'm a fool, by the way.
Anyway, I was texting my friend cause she was going to barrow me Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince.... but it turns out she didn't have it.. She's kind of absent minded, I guess you could call her. uggghhh... So she didn't have it. That kind of upset me cause it was a really big deal and she had been grounded since I've finished the 5th one... Grr. Andrew, Shawn, Zach, and I ended up going out to go home, Andrew was giving us a ride home.. and I was bitching about HP the whole way. But we left Quick Trip, and I suggested I just go steal it.. Andrew was totally down and so we went to BnN.. Closed. Then we went to Target.. it was open!! So I stole it... hard cover and everything... then we went to Wal*Mart and I stole some Ipod headphones.. you know the 30 dollar ones. Yeah anyway.. 60 bucks.... I didn't spend. Good deal.
The night was sweet though. Went to Andrews, got trashed.. Saw the girl I like.. teeeheeee. Yeah but fuck... I am getting a little bored of this as of now.. Oh but my friend who didn't bring my book ended up getting really drunk and like hugging the toilet... puking and shit.. and then later she even puked in a cardboard box!! bahaha.. I was helping her but she was awfully reluctant... stupid whore. And it was sweet cause when she came back... to consciouness.. she said I was being an ass hole and for me not to talk to her. So that's awesome. I almsot felt good about her being fucked up and me helping.. whatever.. I got my HP book anyway. :). *BIG SMILE*

Anyway, major moron came in with his family on Friday night and tried to stay past 10pm (when we close). He came in at like, 9:55pm, ordered, THEN sat down and started eating. Seriously. So, I had to ask him to leave (explaining that we get in trouble when customers are in the lobby after hours) and he got all huffy and was like "Well you could've told me before I started eating," and "Well that's why I asked you when I was ordering" (Dumbass, I was in the back cleaning. I didn't even serve you...my sister did. Get your head out of your ass), etc. The second time he said "I'd have thought you'd have told me," was like so annoyed I was like "Well I would have thought you'd have read our hours that are listed on the door!" Moron. Seriously people, it's not that hard.
Saturday I got the weirdest guy when I came onto my shift. He got to talking about age and what not and wanted to know how old I was and how old I thought he was (apparently he's 22 *shrug*) etc. Anyway, when we got down to the register I was like "Do you need any cutlery?" (he'd gotten a wrap and it was uber messy). Cutlery? What's that? Knives, forks, etc. Oh, no I'm good. When you said 'cutlery' all I could think about was what I've got at home *Raises eyebrows and nods head...mmkay...*I collect swords. Oh cool, my brother collects guns. Swords are so much better than guns. Guns are too quick and easy. With swords you can disarm the person then torture them later. Oooh. Yeah. Okay, have a nice day.
Weeeeerrrrrriiiidooooooo. I'm sorry, are your sadist tendencies supposed to be an attraction for me or something? Also, collects swords my ass. I'm sure there's an actual term for swords that has nothing to do with the word "cutlery."

So, I actually intend to do something for my birthday this year (May 23rd). Yay! I've decided to round up some peeps and go to Cootie B.'s for dinner and then hopefully go see the 2nd Narnia movie with whoever wants to come along after dinner. Here's a list of people who've been invited:

I've been trying to decide what to wear....I know I want to wear one of my dresses...I just can't decide between my red halter or my black one with flowers on it. They both look cool, damn it.

*My allergies suck. I'm taking Benadryl (?) right now but it's not doing that much good. I'm going to try upping my dose to two pills at a time tomorrow, but that may not work. I have to be careful with it because it apparently affect(ed)s my grandmother and mom negatively and would make them really emotional and unstable. *shrug* Oh well.
*The comic strip is coming along slowly. I've only come up with one idea for one strip so far. I'm lame, I know.
*If you don't know her already, Ingrid Michaelson is friggin awesome. Laken, Mama, and I are going to try to get tickets to her show in SC this summer. I cannot wait!
*My stomach keeps hurting. And my back and legs are killing me right now (damn my intolerance for being on my feet for 8 hours straight, 3 days in a row!).
*Suzanna's driving everyone crazy. She's amazingly spoiled which has come as a shock to all of us. She's really selfish and she whines a lot. She's also insanely clingy. Which sucks...since she'll be living with us all summer long....oi. She's going to Nashville for a week on Wednesday, though, so we'll get a mini break from her at least.
