i need to learn how to be more confrontational.
and how to not be afraid to argue with someone and say mean things and have mean things said to me.
i need to learn how to really stick up for what i believe in when it comes to talking about people.
and how to not make myself look or feel stupid in the process.

...to fuck things up. stupid fantasies, stupid dreams, stupid starting my day w/ masterbating, stupid not doing my homework when i'm supposed to, stupid me not getting up @ 9:00am when i originally woke up n instead getting up at like 11:00 n now its 12:33 n i just got out of the shower n i still haven't done shit. stupid me who'd rather sit n complain than do something, stupid me who hates living here so much that she's afraid to leave her room to the point that she won't eat for five hours when she's hungry cuz she doesn't want to see Ruben or Kim AT ALL. stupid me in that situation n not doing my laundary when it wasn't raining, which i desperately need to do now even tho it is raining. stupid me who didn't make that much of an effort, so i could ask Kim for a ride but i don't want to. stupid me that's hungry now n wants food but feels too stressed to cook. stupid me that doesn't have a job n didn't have them in high school so she doesn't have money now n can't afford to just eat out again. stupid me who thought Phoenix would actually make me a porn star n stupid me that thought that would actually make me happy. stupid me that ever thought i could have the kind of body to do that or strip for money, stupid me that ever thought those things about my physical appearence when every time i realize the progress i've made, i start to slack off n start to gain weight again. stupid me who sits here n does this n then ppl who care about me read it n get mad at me cuz i hate myself so much n they love me. i wish i could see, i wish i could see what they see past my stupidity. stupid me ranting about how stupid i am, stupid me wondering why that boy won't like me when i sit n do this instead of live like he does. stupid me, being so stupid. stupid me for not knowing how to cope. stupid me. stupid me who did that drug that sounds so good to me now, stupid me for dating a guy who pressured me to do it. stupid me for living w/ drama n not letting it go, stupid me for being so lost all the time. stupid me, not knowing how to let go of all this stupid shit. stupid, stupid me.

This is just an entry about some of the things that people say that I just don't like, either because they're stupid or just don't make any sense at all.

First of all, we have "a penny for your thoughts" and "putting your two cents in". Okay, now this is not a sound financial decision. We talk everyday, and we think everyday, which leads to us voicing our opinions. So whenever we say something to someone, we get a penny for our thoughts, but we're also putting our two cents in! That's losing a penny every time we speak! This would accumulate over the years and we would lose millions of dollars (yeah, it adds up pretty quickly) so those expressions suck and need to be completely rethought.

"Let the cat out of the bag". Okay...why did you put the cat in your bag in the first place? You probably got your arm scratched the hell out of trying to get that cat in there, and now you're going to release it? It's been building up rage in that bag while you've been carrying it, letting it out is almost as stupid a decision as putting it in the bag in the first place.

"Best thing since sliced bread". Well...so this is it. How long have humans been around? I'm not good with history, but come on! The wheel! Fire! The pyramids, civilization, I can think of thousands of things better than sliced bread! A tuna/egg salad sandwich. You have to put the tuna/egg salad stuff on the sliced bread, so you're expanding on best thing ever (apparently) making it even better. Again, this expression sucks. Sliced bread is not that great.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder". Wrong. Absence makes the heart grow fungus, I'm sure if you took your heart out and left it on the table you would see what I'm talking about.

"Takes the cake". Why? Why are we taking the cake? Don't get me wrong, I would also take the cake, especially if it was chocolate. But what idiot is going to walk up and take your cake? And you know what? Why take the cake? Take the pie, it's a lot easier to carry than cake!

"It's raining cats and dogs". I have never seen it rain cats and dogs, and if it did, not only would I be depressed, but I would have to clean my yard.

"Near miss". When two planes come close to hitting each other, they call it a near miss. It's a near hit! A collision is a near miss! BOOM. Oh, look, they nearly missed. Yeah, but not quite!

"Take the bull by the horns". I don't know about you, but if there was a bull near me, I'd be running the other way, getting behind stuff and trying to live. No way in hell you're gonna get me to grab that thing by the horns, there are several things that could happen if you missed. And I like having my internal organs in good shape.

"Alive and kicking". As opposed to...dead and kicking? If a dead person starts kicking I think you should shoot it in the head before it bites you. This phrase speaks for itself and shouldn't be in the language at all.

"Bite your head off". Now, this one I'm really curious about. Where exactly did this originate? And did people get their heads bitten off there? If not, then they are misleading others and need to change this.

Well theres a whole bunch of drama going on right now. Its really crazy and I hate it as always. Usually I can stay out of it, but this time its about someone im with most of the time. She has been telling different stories to everyone, and it has just come back to her... so people arnt happy and so she again tells different stories to everyone, coving up the last one. But again everyone finding out shes telling everyon something different again, and its anoying the hell out of me. And this isnt stupid stuff. Its very serious what shes telling us and its starting to seriously ruin her reputation. And possibly ruin her friendship with alot of people if it keeps happening.

 

Other then that nothing really serious is happening. Im thinking I might join the navy instead of the army. You can do the same things in the navy then in the army. And in the navy you could be on a ship or submarine! Also my dad was in the navy so ya... dad and i are going to talk to the people the next time im there. So that will be interesting. ^_^ i think it will be good experience to be in the military. Ill learn some good defence, how to use a gun (thats always usfull) and learn all that other fun stuff! yup, so thats that.
