At least 101 killed, hundreds injured in a series of synchronised attacks in Mumbai around midnight on Wednesday. Three top Mumbai Police officials also killed in encounter.

The reactions and the main points of the Terror attack are the following:

So apparently the Golden Globe Awards are cancelled this year because the SGA is saying its members won't be crossing the WGA picket lines.

This actually makes me really happy. It's so great seeing the networks crumble under their own weakness, lameness, and stubbornness.

Perhaps the studios' discovery of their ineptitude without the writers will create a turning point in negotiations. Fingers crossed 'cause I can't handle this strike much longer.

For anyone who's interested and willing to help get quality programming back on our television screens, Michael Schur, writer, co-executive producer, and "Cousin Mose" for "The Office" posted the following on www.OfficeTally.com:

"This site, Firedoglake, has made it really easy to send e-mails to the companies on behalf of specific shows. I'd encourage [fans] not only to do it for 'The Office,' but for any show on any network they like and want to see come back.

Constant pressure on the networks is having an effect - and on advertisers, too. At least one large national company is considering pulling ads from shows because of pressure from consumers. (Unconfirmed but there've been a lot of rumors.)"

There's a sample letter on the site that you can use, which you can tweak with your own words or delete all together. Doesn't matter as long as the letter is sent! :)

NBC refunds advertisers as ratings plunge

 

I mentioned in my last blog before I got to rambling how the kids are cleanign the mudporch!  You all should be listening to them bitch!  It is so hillirous listening to them bicker about who is picking up the coats and hats, who is putting shoes up, who is putting the tools up, who is picking the bits of trash up and who is going to sweep and mop after I change the litter boxes when they are done!

 

If they think this is bad, I can't wait to tell them they are the ones cleaning the bathroom and scrubbing it today!  They are starting to realize that I am on strike!  They got one last decent meal last night of steak, cottage fries, and apples.  Until my house is back to the way I had it, there will be no hot meals just left overs!  Randy is laughing his ass off and teased the kids this morning over the phone about how he isnt' the one that set me off over the hosue this time!

 

Once the mudporch and catboxes are cleaned up, I will bundle the kids up and have them walk down to the grandparental units and I will ice crawl my way up the lane with the van to get into town to get some no gel stuff for the truck.  Once I get that crap in the fuel tank and get the truck going and warmed up then I will run the truck into town, fill it up and put more no gel crap in.  Then I will go down and pick the kids up from my parents before my mom and sister go shopping today.
