On Wednesday, on the cruise, we visited Grand Cayman Island. On our shore excersion, we took a small boat 5 miles off the coast to a place called "Sting Ray City". Above is a picture from the boat. The water was still only a few feet deep but you could see the continental shelf drop off about 50 yards farther out. We were able to get in the water and wade and swim around with the rays.
I'm the fat guy in the upper right of the picture and thats a ray in the water in front of me. This next picture is of our friend Shyla getting what is called a "sting ray massage".
We also went to a place on the island called "Hell". Here is a picture.
And here is the post office. I am sure Laturvey would tell us the real one is much worse. I agree.
We also visited a turtle farm on Grand Cayman Island.
Don't you think I kinda resemble the Crocidile Hunter?.......Me neither.
