Spring is in the air.  How do I know?  Because my husband is spending as much time outside as he can.  He has had cabin fever for so long.  This winter looks like it will never end!  We are suppose to have a high in the 70's today, then tonight rain, and for tomorrow colder and snow again!!!!  Hate this wind.  Must be blowing in Spring , you got to love that though!  Here is a little sunshine for you.   Have a wonderful day.  Peace Be With You.  Judy

I Break for Spring!

Tomorrow is my last day of work before spring break. Thank God!  I think the whole staff has spring fever. I will spend the majority of my spring break trying to figure out how to proceed with going back to school. I found out my Alma Mater doesn't offer a M.A or M.S in psychology. However, they do offer a Masters of Education Degree in Counseling with their Educational Psychology department.  Decisions, decisions.

Thanks to my hyper sister, my daughter has a full, fun-filled schedule set for spring break. I don't know where my sister gets all of that energy, but thank goodness she has it! I also would like to get away for some much needed peace and quiet -- even if it means checking into a hotel for a couple of days.  I've done that in the past and I loved it.  I curled up with a good book and shut the world away. I came home feeling like a million bucks.

Environgirl called to let me know she was out sleeping under the stars.  I already miss her.  I'm sure she will have a blast outside roughing it. I hope she remembered to bring her insect repellent. She's a bit of a hypochondriac. One year she was convinced she had the West Nile Virus. Of course she was only sick for a weekend. Apparently, her superior immune system made it possible for her to successfully fight of the virus in 48 hours.  Researchers are still baffled. LOL.

Spring Fever
I know I've ranted about Spring Fever here before, but this case is the worst I've yet experienced, even compared the severity of last year's outbreak   Feelings of emptiness are coupled with a hollow dread, a complete lack of motivation, a piquing procrastination, and an insatiable thirst for an unattainable completeness that is beyond possible attainment.  A growing impatience spreads within me.  Spring Fever has taken its full root.  Is this or is it not an epidemic?  Or am I just growing more than a little crazy (er)?

Things I love about Spring

  1. The trees leafing out and flowering.
  2. Flowery stems peaking out of the ground soon to be blooming in a palet of beautiful colors and the wonderful scents that comes with the blooming.
  3. The opening of the baseball season.
  4. Amusement park will be opening on the weekends in another week....can get my brain scrambled soon....love it! I'm such a kid at heart.
  5. Coats are shed for light jackets and soon none at all.
  6. The days are getting longer.
  7. Wearing shorts and t-shirts again.
  8. Feeling the warm sun on my face.
  9. Taking my book and lunch to the park to recharge my batteries.
  10. NO SNOW anywhere in sight.
