Conversation with the kiddo:

The kiddo and I were watching season six of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She likes it, but I think she's more of a Xena: Warrior Princess fan. Anyway, our conversation went as follows.

KIDDO: (after seeing a scene with Willow and Tara embracing) Wait a minute, they're gay?

ME: (feeling a bit uncomfortable) Yes sweety, they're gay.

KIDDO: (shrugs shoulders) I don't get it. Why are some people gay?

ME: Nobody really knows hon, it just happens.

KIDDO: Oh, well. They're just people like anybody else. I don't know why some people are mean to them. You shouldn't be mean to people because they're different.

ME: No baby, you shouldn't.

KIDDO; Are they gonna get married on the show?

ME: (Not wanting to spoil the ending of season six) No. Gay people can't get married.

KIDDO: Well there is one state where they can get married.

ME: (curious to know what she knows): What state is that?

KIDDO: California.

ME: How did you know this?

KIDDO: *sighs* Moooooom! I heard it on the news!

ME: Well excuuuuuse me.

KIDDO: (after watching some flirty dialog between Spike and Buffy) Buffy is NOT gay!

LOL! That kid really cracks me up sometimes, I swear!

Ok, I've got a cold at the moment so I took the day off 2day. My day mostly consisted of watching DVD's, I watched 'Nothing Hill' & started 2 watch this other 1 that my mum gave me but it got kinda boring & I didn't finish it. Apart from that I watched a lot of Angel. Mum was out most of the day, she was out shoping with my grandparents. She brought me back KFC! (Goodie) I've still got a cold but I will most likely be heading back 2 skool. Tuesday's are ok though. We've got sport (which I usually h8) but I'm in rec sport. No not rep sport...rec. Recreation sport. How kool is that? We each get 2 choose a sport. Not like sport as in...football. but like bowling & stuff. lol, last year I was a cheerleader! but this yr I go 2 some imagin dance studio & do modern dance. Its pretty ok. I've got 2 of my friends with me, Kathy & Re (Kathryn & Rhiannon) I only have another (close) friend. Elle (Elizabeth), she waz fighting with us the day we picked sport groups I think. She doing some karate thing, I dunno. I'm not saying I'm doing backflips about Tuesdays. I mean its a skool day, hello. But it means I spend 3 periods of school not doing work. So I'm pretty happy. Speaking of being happy, yesturday it was my bro's 10th birthday, David. Which 4 me is actually unhappy news, but that means I can use all of his presies! He got a portable DVD player...so not fair!...well, I guess it is seing as I've already got 1. But his looks better & it means he can't be jealous of me anymore & I had 2 wait till I was 13. I'm not looking forward 2 the day he gets a mobile. Ok, sounding like a brat here! Anyway, he got "another" Buffy cd. Called radio Sunnydale. Its an ok cd, but 1 tiny song can make all the difference. you know? The final fight by Rob Duncan. (I don't know who the hell he is) but his song...wow! ok, I'm not explaining it right. Buffy fans, picture season 7 mixed 2gether. Including the Buffy & Spike love theme it chosen. CHOSEN! Spike is dying! NOOO! So sad. I cry every time I here that last bit. Even though he cums back 2 life in Angel. Ok well, I've seemed to have babled a lot. I wonder if u can play music on these blogs. Do u know? I'd better go. Mwa
