Finals today. Three, at about two hours each. I'm tired.
Luckily, none Thursday, so theres a party at Eddie's house, and then a(mostly drunken) weekend at my sister's place after the last test I have on Friday.
I've decided to put off my four seasons composition for the time being, I'll begin with the beginning in spring. Instead, I think I'm going to experiment with some sounds I've been playing around with for a while. More on that later, though.
I wrote my final essay in English today on how the internet has impacted the way we share information. My biggest point was the development of the "new media." I mentioned digital distribution and how it removes much of the need for physical infrastructure, and therefore overhead operational costs. The best examples I could think of were, among others, Netflix(watching All Quiet on the Western Front as I type), Skype, Vonage, etc...I also noted that it was a much more social, accessible media than the old. I cited
shauna as an excellent example of that.
