ETA: Also, tonight's episode of "The Office" totally made up for last week. Schrute Farms B&B, Harry Potter bedtime stories and cuddling, separate beds, first trip together (complete with manure), POWERPOINT, Italian food... all so, so good. =D

So my favorite night of television kinda let me down last night.

 

"Smallville" was pretty blah. Lana's back. *stabs eyes* WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE? But next week will be better. Dean effing Cain is guest-starring, and it's a Chloe-centric storyline. Win!

 

"The Office," my new gotta-watch-it show, even let me down a little. Granted there were a few parts I liked, such as Jim and Pam's prank on Dwight and their rooftop "date," Dwight's emo-ness over his breakup with Angela, TV!Ryan with pizza on his face, and the bear horn. But other than that I didn't think it was anything special. The hour-long episodes are a little much, I think. The first half is usually really great, but then the second half drags. Next week's episode is the last hour-long one, though, so problem solved. :) And I believe part of it involves Jim and Pam on Dwight's beet farm. Should be interesting, haha.

 

"ER" barely held my interest. Couldn't even tell you what the storyline was, so no point in discussing. This season isn't starting off well. :(

Via "Oh No They Didn't" and Kryptonsite: Former Superman Dean Cain to guest star on next week's episode of "Smallville."  

 

The Superman who introduced me to the mythos 13 years ago (and my first real on-screen crush *blush*), and the one-day Superman who has kept me interested the past seven years... both on the same screen?! Battling it out in a Chloe-centric episode?!

 

*gleeful spasms*

 

This pleases me. IMMENSELY. I just hope the episode can live up to expectations. For now, I need to find out more information about the storyline.

So many opportunities in tonight's premiere for my favorite pairing, but neither participant took the bait! Grr. Kelly Clarkson's "Sober" at the end was a beautiful touch, though, so that almost made up for it. Everything else was pretty entertaining. If the rest of the season is anything like the premiere, then I'd say things are looking up for this show. :)

Watching "The Office" right now, and yay! At least one of my favorite TV couples has a clue. PBJ, haha.
