FUCKING PRICK...

For the majority of the day, I've not felt the best. I've been slightly lapsed for a while now - but Shelly did manage to cheer me up slightly. We played Canis Canem Edit together and Guitar Hero 5.
Shelly came at about 3 in the afternoon because she was spending the night after coming with us to Ian's Halloween party.
Mam had bought mini bags of Haribo Starmix for the brats who knock on the door and she said I couldn't have any - but I snaffled some when she wasn't looking. :P

Although the party was pretty good - I had a laugh with Christine, talked with Laura about film-making, talked with Mark about games - had a laugh with Lisa and her friend in the kitchen - drank a few bottles of iron brew WKD and cuddled up with Shelly on the sofa for a while - it was dad who had to go and ruin it.

And he didn't just ruin the party for me - he ruined the whole of tonight. He's SUCH a fucking ARSEHOLE.
He's starting to make me hate him again. A while back I disliked mam for being bitchy all the time, but she's settled down, she's just a knob when it suits her - but dad's a total fucking prick all the time.
And this is tripled, maybe even quadrupled when he's drunk.

He ALWAYS, without fail - will upset me when I'm drunk - but apparently he upset Christine as well - he upset Shelly by being a general arsehole, touching her up - and not just her, Lisa and Amy as well - and I know that mam wasn't best pleased with him either.

Not only this - but when we got home - Shelly and I were cuddled up on the floor and duvet pile together - some chavs had set fire to a car outside, so we had mam mooching about being generally nosey - all these fire engines and police cars going by at two in the morning with their lights and sirens going - then this inflamed car decided to start randomly EXPLODING. Shelly and I were just like SERIOUSLY WTF.

After this drama, we all settled down and tried to get back to what we were doing - dad decides to blunder about naked on the landing, throwing up all over the carpet and the suitcase by the ottoman. So he's being noisy, as well as flashing everything to Shelly who was unfortunate enough to catch a glimpse when she was going to the toilet.
And as a result of him throwing up everywhere - he kept mam awake as well as us - he was pissing about mopping everywhere up with toilet roll for about 45 minutes - then there was the racket of mam getting the mop bucket out.

It was like the first time in ages I was in a reasonable mood, I wasn't TOO depressed - thus rendering my sex drive reasonably okay - and he just had to go and turn me RIGHT off. Vomit is one of my phobias, for a start - but I couldn't feel at all comfortable knowing he was falling about like a twat on the landing outside the door and mam was dragged away to clean up after him.
I felt really sorry for her actually - I'm just glad she didn't have work on Sunday and dad did - ha, the twat, that'll fucking teach him.

Screenings & Sleepovers

Today was the day I had to show the sequence from my chosen film in Film Studies. We're writing essays as part of the coursework - choose a 3-5 minute sequence from a film and analyse the micro features. Sarah was making us all show our sequences up on the whiteboard so we could "bounce ideas". Hmm.

Anyway, I chose my favourite film, Amélie - and when I was searching through it, looking for the bit I wanted - I only went and clicked the point on the bar when the "how many couples are having an orgasam right now?" bit came on. It was amusing, in its own little way.
I've picked quite a fast, yet horribly detailed sequence, so this "idea bouncing" idea actually helped; Sarah and some other people in the group had picked out some stuff that I hadn't even noticed, even after all the times of watching the damn thing.

On the way to the bus station, I stopped off at B&M and bought a Wispa bar for Shelly. I'd have gotten her a Crunchie, but they didn't seem to have any.
She'd told me she was coming at half 3 to 4 - but she didn't come until nearly 6. Her reasoning was summat to do with her parents, so I didn't really persue the matter.
Waiting for her, I'd been playing Guitar Hero II and gotten to a stage where I was only a few songs away from finishing both the easy and medium careers. When that's done, I can remove the game from the "to be completed" wallet and put it back in the box, ready for when I'm working the hard and expert careers.

(I can't alternate between all four of the difficulties - I need to finish the easier careers before I go onto the fun ones, otherwise I'll end up out of practice.)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got Shelly to play the ridiculous 1,000,000 roses level on We Love Katamari.
It's like, THE MOST POINTLESS, YET EVER SO SLIGHTLY EPIC LEVEL EVER.

Beat the game, collect all the cousins and what are you rewarded with?
A ridiculous challenge to collect a MILLION red roses - and according to guides, the quickest time to do it in is like TWELVE HOURS.
So if that's the quickest, I dread to think what the slowest is. :(

I left Shelly to it while I went to ring Ash.
But I ended up staying on the phone for like 45 minutes. The first 15 were spent talking to her mam coz our little Ash had done a total opposite of what we know her to do - and she'd gone to the university's STUDENT BAR.

When I told Shelly, she was like "ARE YOU SURE THAT'S THE RIGHT ASHLEIGH?!"
I wasn't sure myself either. :P
But Ash quickly redeemed her "Ash" status when I asked her if she was smashed and she responded with: "Norrr... I've had a coke..." (best spoken with the voice, naturally)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shelly and I spent a fun night together - we drank what was left of the bottles of fruit cider in the fridge, played a little bit of Guitar Hero and then we settled down to spend a few intimate hours together. :)

Loud Guitarists

After yet another bland simple re-capping Film Studies lesson, I wandered into town and bought some stuff for Shelly and I to munch on.
She told me she misses the crisps from Home Bargains, so I bought her a bag of those, along with a Wispa bar.
I came home, straightened up my room - and Shelly arrived at half four.

We munched and played Guitar Hero.
I finished off the Easy career on Rocks The 80s and Shelly and I played a few songs on the co-op career.
We also did some work on her GH3 co-op career - but with me playing on Expert, both of us using older PS2 guitars - KNIGHTS OF CYDONIA.
So it was no wonder mam came in whinging and made us stop.

We switched to a quieter game: We Love Katamari and played a few levels - beating some of my older scores.
And yes, that damned Cowbear level continues to rile us both.

We shared a bottle of Jaques together and wound down, cuddling up to each other on my bed.
We spent a while laid on a pile of duvets and pillows on the floor. Before we could even get to doing anything ourselves - we could proper hear the bed banging about in the next room. It was so fucking funny. :)

Saturday, Something Missing Here?

I was the first to wake up this morning.
We'd sort of arranged ourselves in a broken circle: Adam over by the TV, me and my airbed diagonally parallel, with Shelly on the sofa to my left and Ash on the sofa behind me.

Naturally, when I woke up, the first thing I saw were Ash's nostrils lmfao. She looks quite cute in her sleep - she doesn't look a great deal different, there's no weird face distortion like most people, squinty eyes and gaping jaws - nah, Ash looks pretty normal in that sense, but I was below her and her head was tilted, so I could proper see inside her nose. :)
I woke Adam and Ash up - but Shelly was more of a struggle - and I had to resort to practically diving on top of her to do so.

By the time we'd alternated around the bathroom - disregarding Ash of course, because she doesn't do sleepover showers - sorted out all the bedding and airbeds, we brought down my new PS2 and the GH drums.

We kicked it off with some We Love Katamari - level alternations. :)
We took it in turns making huge Katamaris and smashing them into stardust, because we didn't ever seem to beat my older scores. Ash and Shelly really seem to like it - of course, we had to play it because they were both practically begging me - mainly Ash. :)

We ate the cold boxed parmo from last night - and my word, it was epic and heavenly. :)
It was fucking legendary warm, but it's even better cold the next day. Then we broke into the cream cheese and chive pretzels that Shelly hated the smell of - and drank practically all of the Cherry Coke. :)

I sampled a bit of Maximo - and re-fell in love with it. :)
After a few seconds in the first level, and after hearing that old coin noise, I was drooling at it again. Ahhhh, Maximo. Another PS2 classic everyone must own. :)

I played through a few levels, then swapped to Silent Hill 3.
I got really fucking frustrated with it because the opening sequence is stupidly dark and I spent like 20 minutes looking for a door in the wrong place. Gaaaah.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ash, Shelly and I finished off the Guitar Hero: Metallica band career, with the ocassional input from Adam, who was off in his own little world with his iPod.
Then, with reluctance from me - we went to Guitar Hero 5.
Naturally, I refused to play it, it's still one game that hasn't gotten through to me yet. I just watched those three messing around on it - mainly Adam doing a solo drum lark. :)

Today has been fucked. It's only really Shelly who's had any life in her.
I've been in my usual neutral-bordering-content mood - but Ash hasn't seemed herself, and Adam's been really depressed, sat on the sofa with his iPod for an alarming amount of time. I wasn't very happy about it, but I just left him to it.
I tried to cheer Ash up, I cuddled her a lot and always let her decide on what game we'd be playing next. It was all rather off... I feel content, but it there seemed something missing.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Out of the few photos we took together, this is the only reasonable one. They were all at fucked angles and we were always pulling fucked up faces. Even using the timer setting on the camera, we managed to fuck it up. :)
This is a potential photo to go in the photo frame Christine got me. I'm still deciding.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ash went home at 7 - not long after we'd taken that epic photo, and Adam followed her about 20 minutes later.
Shelly was going to go at 10, but she ended up spending the night instead. :D

It was a great combo. After we'd finished cleaning up downstairs, moving the consoles back to where they should be and so on - I got myself the bottle of Jaques and the bottle of WKD for Shelly, two pint glasses and ice - and we played We Love Katamari - co-op mode. :D

It's so fucking weird. Very difficult, and it does indeed require a lot of teamwork, but oddly enough - the two of us together managed to beat my score on the underwater level. All our other efforts fell short a bit, but we didn't ever fail a level together. :)

Single Bed + Shelly = Sleep Deprivation!

I thought with me picking up an AS - I wouldn't have any proper massive gaps. I have one day where I have a late start, one with an early finish and one with a double lunch break. But Friday leaves me with one lesson, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SODDING DAY. And that lesson is the AS I picked up.

Which currently, at the start of the course, is a bit of a pointless effort.
Film studies is exactly like media studies - therefore, I already know all of the terminology - which is what Sarah is going over currently. On top of that - today we were talking about filming and camera techniques - a lot of which I'd already covered in PHOTOGRAPHY!

There wasn't much point in me going in, but it was pretty funny when Sarah asked the group what the master shot of a sequence she showed us was.
To which I responded: "It was that AERIAL LONG SHOT of the crowd." then I smiled to myself because nobody else knew what that meant exactly. :P

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I got home, I got myself a drink and I sat down to finish off Banjo-Kazooie.
Seriously, never listen to guides when it comes to boss fights. They over-complicate them. They make them far too technical and far too WORDY.

I went at it without any help from the guide and killed her on my first attempt.
This time I'd gotten used to staying out of the way of the fireballs - so I wasn't plummeting to my death by falling off the side of the tower either.

The ending had a pissy moment in it:

Banjo: "Wow, it's a nice big ice key!"
Kazooie: "I know where I'd like to stick that..."
Banjo: "KAZOOIE!!!"

Then the game had to wind me up by having a promotional insert about the sequel Banjo-Tooie.
It's on Ebay for like £30... Sigh... Do I love it enough to get it... I loved that one... I liked the GBA one... Gahhhh...
And without a box it's £20... Do I honestly want to pay £10 for a BOX?
It's an N64 cartridge, 9 of my 10 games are unboxed.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shelly came at half six. She was staying here tonight.
We spent a lot of time playing Guitar Hero and messing about on YouTube and Facebook.

There was a slight moment of hilarity when mam came in with the yellow foot pump to blow up the airbed.
With the noise it was making, Shelly and I were pissing ourselves - mam went "MURR, IT'S NOT FUNNY!" - as she was pissing herself also. :)

We ate Smarties cookies, crisps, Oreos and various other crap while I played Conker's Bad Fur Day.
It's really pissing me off now. The first 3/4 of the game was epic, but now I'm at the final chapter, the shitty warzone based crap with a fucking shotgun as a weapon - it's turned from a hilarious platformer adventure into a shitty military-style 3rd-person shooter. There's proper no need.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shelly and I slept in my bed - I gave her pleasure for an hour solid. :)
I was quite pleased with myself, but I wouldn't let her touch me. I didn't feel up to it.
I also couldn't sleep with her ALL night, I kept waking up every hour or so. When she's asleep, she proper SPREADS OUT. That wasn't a problem in the double bed at nana's, but I just couldn't do it in a single bed.

So I went on the airbed instead. I nicked one of the duvets and cuddled up with it all night because it smelt like her. :)
