Saturday night, Michael (my brother) and I talked about him going away to college next year. He's really into films and film making. He's looking at one school in Florida, FullSail University. There are a bunch of other colleges that he's looking into as well. I told him that I wish I was more like him, in the sense that he actually knows what he wants to do. He told me I should go into film too, that there are so many different avenues. I've really enjoyed all these communication classes that I've been taking, so what could I do with that in film, right? Well, I could be a casting director. Haha. I mean, I've been helping Michael out with the movie so far. So who knows? It's funny though, Michael wants to get into the film industry, and Brandon (my boyfriend) wants to become a writer, more along the lines of a script writer. So, it kind of makes sense to put me into that industry, to make a stronger bond, right? Well, I don't know. Maybe. We'll see. It's nice to day dream about Michael, Brandon, and myself all going down to Florida to Fullsail and become thrown into that industry, but it seems impossible, at least for me...I think. Then again, maybe I just have to do some more research into. Anyone have any suggestions for a communication major?
Sunday was really, really fun, minus my contact dilemma. I picked up Brandon Sunday afternoon and went back to my house to film. Mike, Steve, and Lauren were already there when Brandon and I got back. Sure, there were some annoyances of the day, like when Lauren spilled candlewax on her and her ditziness, but whatever. Steve and I enjoyed laughing at her.
While Michael was filming Brandon, Mike, and Lauren outside, Steve and I stayed inside talking. It was really nice to vent to him. We have a lot more in common than I thought, which is nice. It's nice to have someone see things from your point of view. He even agreed with me that Lauren is too flirty. That made my day. He also forwarned me that Lauren wanted to ride with Brandon when we went sleigh riding. PSH. After they were done filming in the snow we all went outside and went sleigh riding. I'm pretty sure I made it clear in front of Lauren that Brandon would only go with me. I mean, you have to sit real close when you go on a sled. GRRR. Haha, oh well. So, I haven't gone sleigh riding since I was MAYBE 14? Almost 6 years. It felt exhilarating! I have to admit, I'm pretty sore from hurling myself of the tube before I hit the tree. At least I was lucky enough to get off before hitting the tree. Poor Steve, he went completely UNDER the tree! It was theeeee funniest thing of the day, most definitely. I fell on the ground laughing so hard! Oh, and my eskimoness was pretty funny too. But that day, it was definitely fun.
After realizing how out of shape I am, I've decided to go back to weight watchers, and try my best to lose the weight I gained back over winter. I also convinced my mom to go with me, which will be a nice bonding experience. I'm really looking forward to having some motivation to get healthy again. The meeting is tonight, hopefully some of the ladies I met before will still be there.
I think I am officially out of my funk. At least, I hope so anyway. I've been in a funk for over a month. I'm finally feeling productive and happy. It feels really good. I just hope it lasts for a while, along with everyone else around me I'm sure...haha.
Well, I hope everyone else out there is doing well....

IT'S A SNOW DAY!!
the second snow day of my entire school career!
one time in elementary school but they decided that it wasn't even supposed to be a snow day because they got all the roads cleared up by 8 am.
but not today!
there's like 3 feet of snow outside!!

I was sitting upstairs on the comp a little while ago and decieded it was 9 o'clock or so and I was getting the kids out of the hosue for a while!
They dont' have school today because they go to Catholic School and it is the Holy Day of Immaculant Conception of Mary! Yes I already got a phone call from Sister Frances (the one I made cry earlier this year)! See I didn't point anythign out to the kids and DeLaney figured somethign out on her own and went straight to Sister Frances and got really upset that Sister Frances didn't answer her!
DeLaney: Sister Frances? We have Friday off because Mary got pregnant with Jesus right?
Sister Frances: Yes, DeLaney.
DeLaney: Okay so if a woman is pregnant 9 months, then Jesus's birthday isn't in December or did she preform some magic and have him in less then 3 weeks after getting pregnant?
Sister Frances: Not now DeLaney will talk about it later!
Then I got a phone call:D I was laughing so hard. Leave it to my lil Pagan kids to fluster a Sister! I asked if she has an answer prepared for DeLaney and she didn't. I strongly suggested that she get one prepared for the next time she sees DeLaney and that I wanted to hear the response before she gave it to DeLaney. Father Mike called a little later and was laughign just as hard as I was. Explaining that he would be the one explainign things to DeLaney and that he would make sure that he ran things by me first before he said anything! I said you might as well pull Coltin in on your explanation cause he would be wondering also!
My toes are cold because I had the kids bundle up in snow pants and such to go outside for a morning of sledding and snow boarding. I was also debating if I started the van up and ice skate up my lane to see if I could make it up the hill. I still have to call my dad to see if he can pick me up to go get my truck from the mechanics! While we were getting ready to go outside my Uncle Gene showed up with a tractor and loader to clean out the drive and lane! Yay!
I will still have to ice skate up the hill he said but now I dont' have to worry about breaking through snow drifts on top of it! My Uncle Gene was laughign his ass off at what I was wearing out in the snow and cold though!
I have a black tshirt on that the sleeves are ripped off of (old basketball practice shirt), a pair of black sports shorts, a pair of softball socks that are white with black stripped, and a pair of chucks! And since I was outside I had a black butt and hip covering sweater on! My toes are cold now! While I was snappign pictures of the kids going down the hill and Uncle Gene climibing down and off the tracotr to come chitter he snapped a picture of me and my outfit on his camara phone! Said it was too goofy sexy to pass up not to email to Randy! I informed him Randy already saw my get up cause this is what I had on yesterday and used as night clothes! He started laughign when I said DeLaney snapped a picture and had me email it. He goes well this time you are in a sweater also with chucks he'll really appreciate it!
I am having my knee surgery before Christmas and come to find out my Uncle is having one of his knees replaced after Christmas! We are going to be gimps together! Plus we are going to go gang up on my dad about getting his knees replaced after his Guillium Barrers Syndrome is completely cleared up and his back is operated and healed up from!
But I strongly suggest if you go out in the cold and snow to at least have tennies on and not chucks! my toes are cold and sore now!
It was nice today. Warm for us reaching a high of 45F! Woo heatwave!!! :P We jammed packed our day with many things.
First we went to a no-kill shelter in Monroe to help out Josh's mom only to find out they do not take out of county animals. Bummer too! She is a very sweet stray. Ahh well, I guess we are watching another kitty till we find another no-kill shelter that will help us out.
Then we went to a butterfly and moth exhibit at the Rotary Gardens. I took a lot of pictures so look forward to those tomorrow. (I didnt want to overload you)
Afterwards we went out to eat for Italian. Mmm. :9 <--- Licky lips face!
Then as a fun treat we went sledding! Me in my skirt too! We were being extra silly as seen in the videos.
Tomorrow will be another busy day! I hope to take more pictures to share with everyone.

The second picture is of the old corral for the horses and cattle. The field behind it use to be one of the pastures and when my Uncle got out of cattle he made it into a field. If you go up the hill and then down it you can get to my parents place.
The last picture is another of the old corral near the newer cattle barn and the field shown behind the corral use to be a field. Well it still is but it is set aside. Meaning they don't farm it and get paid for not farming it by the gov't. It helps the soil by not farming fields for so many years. It costs the farmers money to do this so the gov't has a set aside program set up to offset the costs.
