The Broncos are on a bye week.

New England beat the Cowboys 38-21.

I don't usually like the Cowboys but, I like the Patriots even less so I rooted for the Cowboys.

The major one that seemed to take FOREVER was the Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints.  The Saints won 28-17.  It was horrid for the Seahawks but the Saints won their first game this season and it's week 6.  xD

Laura came over for a couple of hours.  We watched Devil Wears Prada....total chick-flick but I loved it!

We watched V for Vendetta......it was all right.  Natalie Portman was pretty good in it.  Although, if she was trying to imitate an Irish accent, she SUCKED at it.

Mom and I are still going through our crap.   I can't help but feel still that we are going to end up in Idaho before the Football season's over.  Speaking of Idaho, Denver needs to get rid of Cutler.  I foresee a worse game than San Diego......gah!

Got a new Plummer jersey! It's orange and navy blue!  I LOVE it!

Denver has GOT to pull out Cutler and bring back Jake or they will lose worse than last season!  GRRR! DAMN YOU BOWLEN!

~BRING BACK JAKE PLUMMER!!!!~ *~316~*

Seahawks Deserve The Win

Well Seattle, another tough break. This time it wasn't your doing however. Everybody South and East of Washington wanted the Seahawks to lose, even the referees. Now any Steelers fans who read this will just laugh and say I'm bitter because the Seahawks lost, but look at the whole day. The first touchdown which was taken away from the Seahawks is one of the most tacky calls I have seen, and even the great John Madden and Steve Young agree. As far as momentum of the ballgame, that was huge. One that may not be so true, but during two of Hasselbecks long throws to the endzone, the receiver stepped one foot in bounds and kicked the pylon, which is in the endzone. Another touchdown called back by the immaculate referee. Then we come to the holding call. Seahawks make a big play to make it to the one yard line, but thats too many yards to gain on one play, so another flag is thrown for "holding" which Madden and Young again saw as incorrect. Then the interception comes, and Hasselbeck tackles the ball carrier, and is called for chop blocking a blocker............ when he was tackling the only one with the ball. Damn stripes. So Seattle, come back next year, and have another great game. Hopefully next year you won't have to play against sixteen guys. You earned a win but weren't rewarded. Keep it up guys.

My one observation from the Super Bowl...

From America's greatest display of consumerism, I must contend, I did enjoy the game...

But Pittsburg didn't deserve to win. In fact, I contend the refs absolutely blew that game, and head referee Bill Leavy should be fired. Seattle should have won the game. Pittsburg played like shit, and aside from those 2 magical plays, did little else to even show they were worthy of playing in the game.

Seattle was robbed. From Roethlisburger's rushing "touchdown" to that terrible "pass interference" call that negated a touchdown - and finally the clincher - that absolutely bullshit holding call when Seattle completed a pass to Stevens on the 1 yard line, poised to take the lead and send Pittsburg and all their poser fans back home (I mean, come on, did you hear how quiet that crowd was for a good majority of the game? I've seen more excitment at a funeral).

In a fair world, of non home-cooked games, Seattle would have won. But you know, the media wanted to fixate on the story of a team from coal-mining Industrial Red America with a 36 year old Fat Man named Jerome Bettis who would finally win the big game.

In their loss, the Seahawks gained a fan. And I'm not the only one who thinks that way:
