Schedule @ MindSay
My schedule for today: Laundry (we don't have a dryer, so I have to hang it on the chain-link fence outside, hence doing it first), Go to the Library! I have been wanting to go and just look at different books of interest for over a month now, and just never had the time. Do some homework there also. If I have time, which I really hope I do, because I've been wanting to do this for even longer than I've wanted to spend a day at the library: Go to Empire to get some henna done. I want to get the om symbol, and I would really like some version of Ganesha too. They represent wholeness and wisdom. I could use both right about now. I also want something pretty though. So, we'll see what they come up with. Maybe if I can figure it out, I'll post a pic or two on here.
I have a busy day ahead of me, I had best get going!

I have a slight addiction to planning everything out. Everything that I can. I want all the details down. And, now there's too many details for my brain to look it without receding into gibbering terror. Which is actually pretty funny.
That's one part.
The other thing is that I NEED to find some way to unwind. Find some sort of fun. Or find some sort of relaxation. Something unrelated to work, unrelated to my summer goals, unrelated to class. Just me time. Or me and friend time. Something legal, so that rules out a few chemical concepts. Something that doesn't muck up my summer goals, so that rules out the rest of the chemical concepts. And something that isn't nuking my sleep schedule, so, I need to cut out the late nights hanging out with the buds.
The only reason I'm not yet in bed is because one of the girls asked me to keep an eye on something on the stove for her. And one of the others has a question for me, evidently, but hopped out for a smoke.
I haven't actually made it to the shelter where I'm supposed to be a volunteer. Not yet, for this semester. I should so do that - just ask if I can have some lovin' time with the furballs and do some cleaning hours later. Few things can make you unwind like a roomful of kittens.
That, or get together the other super-stressed person in my life and start having a weekly super-random movie night. And these WILL be random, because we have polar opposites in tastes.
Better yet, combine all of these. Signscout likes animals. We both like random movies. We'll take the DVD player to the shelter and play Airplane at the dogs, see how they like it (sadly, Signscout is in favor of the brand of movies that I refer to as, "stupid humor." Sigh), or something.
If you don't find a little time to be completely irrational, you go crazy. It's just a rule.
I hate exam time-.-. It's so stressful. The only exam I’m really worried about is my chemistry. I suck at it (mainly because I slack off and don’t work at it). Ironically I decided to put gr. 12 chemistry in space of my spare next semester so that way I can have a spare in grade 12. So now my schedule for next semester goes:
Period 1 (9:30-10:50am): Grade 11 advanced placement math
Period 2 (10:55am-12:10pm): Gr. 1116th century College/University History (they didn't have university level...only the college/university)
~LUNCH~ (which counts as period 3 at my school)
Period 4 (12:55-2:10pm)- Gr. 12 University Chemistry
Period 5 (2:15-3:30pm): Gr. 11 University English
Incase you don’t understand what I mean my advanced placement, university, or college/university, I'll do a run-down for yee.
In my school, from grades 9-10, this is the "ranking" of classes.
Advanced placement-for "higher learning"-I believe it is only offered for math and English
Academic-For people who can do well with "theory" work and don't need as much assistance or hands-on learning
Applied-For people who thrive with hands-on learning. Apparently less homework than with academic (so I’ve heard).
Open- A type of class which all kinds of students can thrive at (meaning "essential" kids to "advanced placement" kids). The only classes which are "open" are "tech" classes or "arts" classes.
Essential- People who have trouble with more complex stuff, and won't be going into college/university after high school (meaning straight into apprenticeship or workplace). I believe only math and English is offered.
University and all that comes into play in grade 11-12. "Academic" is replaced with "university", "applied" is replaced with "college", "essential" is replaced with "workplace", and the university/college choice is offered in certain courses. Other than that, it’s the same. University means the same as applied, they only call it "university" because generally someone taking a university course will be going into university after high school. (There are also open classes for grade 11 and 12s. Its still called "open").
So ya. Thought I’d procrastinate some more. *Sigh*.
