more.
- tonight in class, I got to use a soldering iron, and let me tell you something, it was enjoyable (and scary!) and I would probably like to do that again.

- in NO WAY can I believe this story:  http://www.newsday.com/news/local/ny-liburg0329,0,5231200.story
no way.  Not Anthony.  I've worked with several other people in my years who I can actually envision doing that, but not Anthony.  So if it's false, the damage it's doing to his reputation is irrepairable.  And if it's true, my soul is absolutely crushed.

There's no win in this situation.

((happy opening day, all!  too bad the Yanks didn't get to play))

Eliot Spitzer. WTF?
So, as I’m sure you know by now, the holier-than-thou Governor of New York and father of three daughters, Eliot Spitzer, aka “Client 9,” has been busted for his involvement in a prostitution ring.

Of course, this follows the other insanely hypocritical scandal from the other side of the aisle, that of Idaho Senator Larry "wide stance" Craig.

The most recent coverage from elsewhere has state officials in New York calling for Spitzer’s resignation.

The only way I can describe all of this is “unbelievable,” but, share your own thoughts in the comments.

Scandal Schmandal

*gasp* Bring out the smelling salts!  John McCain may or may not have had an affair!

So far there is no real proof of this and I am sick and tired of the issue of where a candidate puts or does not put his penis being called to question when it comes to running the country. So instead of focusing on his platform and the issues, he's got to face allegations about screwing a lobbyist.

The media is trying to make it look like he could have been influenced to cater to whatever special interest group(s) she represents, but let's be honest the real scandal is the alleged affair. In this country we just love a juicy sex scandal.  Who will ever forget the blow job heard all around the world?

Don't get me wrong, I am no McCain supporter. I'm one of those mentally disturbed liberals. Yet some how in my madness there is clarity. It's this crazy liberal attitude of mine that causes me to believe these allegations detract from the real concerns of the American people that are addressed in these primaries. This is too important of an election year to be concerned about McCain's penis.  I'm not supporting him because I don't agree with his views on the war in Iraq not because he may or may not have had an affair.

Did Obama Engage with Homosexual Sex with Larry Sinclair?

Well, well, well – the beginnings of scandalous alleged accusations that Democratic Party communicating wonder Barack Obama has been involved in illicit homosexual sex and a participant of illegal drugs as late as 1999 has been level by a homosexual by the name of Larry Sinclair.

Of course the Mainstream Media is taking a hands-off approach about the alleged accusations of Sinclair because Obama is the current darling charismatically promoting change yet not detailing any substance of change.

I am guessing no one will touch Sinclair’s allegations until he can demonstrate physical evidence to back up his story. Sinclair does seem determined to out Obama for he has filed civil public documents outlining the allegations in a civil suit.

If Sinclair manages to gain any traction in his exposé civil suit I wonder what the Obama and Democratic Party spin machine will be. For example homosexuality is not a criminal offense however Obama is married. Would Obama’s wife pull a Hillary and look the other way if truth is discovered in the Sinclair allegations?

Participating in controlled substances, i.e. using prescribed drugs abusively or drugs described as illegal narcotics could be a legal issue for Obama if the allegations are proven true. I mean Obama was a member of the Illinois State Congress in 1999 allegedly breaking the law.

Or will the devout believers of Obama’s promise of (empty) change lead voters themselves to look the other way. After all Bill Clinton perjured himself about being a sexual predator and was impeached by the House and exonerated by a Party line vote in the Senate and still remained popular with his Left Wing constituency who could care less about immoral acts in the White House.

I am pondering here: I wonder what the Mainstream Media would do if the reputation in question was the leading candidate for President in the Republican? Here is another thought: knowing the penchant for Social Conservative to be outraged at immoral behavior of the Left; is the Obama story a Hillary strategic planted story in collusion with Larry Sinclair to take Democratic Party votes away from Obama to win the Democratic Party nomination for herself?

Anyway it is all fascinating dirt that is closer to the present than the accusations of being a closet Muslim because of Obama’s childhood and youth.

The mud is beginning to fly.

Rumsfeld Said to Have Fled France to Avoid Torture Arrest

On Friday, while former Defense Sec. Donald Rumsfeld
was visiting France, human rights groups based there
and in the United States filed complaints against him,
 charging him with approving torture:

The French complaint accuses Mr. Rumsfeld of authorizing
torture at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and at the Abu Ghraib prison
in Iraq, and says it violated the Convention Against Torture,
which came into force in 1987.

As part of their complaint, the groups submitted 11 pages
of written testimony from Janis Karpinski, the highest-ranking
officer to be punished in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.
She was demoted to colonel from brigadier general and lost
command of her military police unit.
She contended that the abuses at the prison had started after
the appearance of Maj. Gen. Geoffrey Miller, who was sent by
Mr. Rumsfeld to assist military intelligence interrogators.

French prosecutors were said to have the power to pursue
the case while Rumsfeld was in the country.

One source cites unconfirmed reports that Rumsfeld was abruptly
whisked away from a breakfast meeting on Friday in order to
avoid his arrest:

U.S. embassy officials whisked Rumsfeld away yesterday
from a breakfast meeting in Paris organized by the Foreign
Policy magazine after human rights groups filed a criminal
complaint against the man who spearheaded President George
W. Bush’s “war on terror” for six years.

Under international law, authorities in France are
obliged to open an investigation when a complaint is made
while the alleged torturer is on French soil.

The report said Rumsfeld fled to Germany because similar
charges were dismissed against him there in the spring.
The German court ruled that Rumsfeld’s criminality was
an internal matter for the United States.

Is it not clear that the rule of law applies to
some people but not to others?

Where Rumsfeld had the power to put people in prison
without due process of law, when he is the subject
of a complaint himself, he flees the country
like a common criminal.

Actually, Rumpsmelt has committed
crimes right here in the USA.

We signed treaties that outlaw torture,
among other crimes he also committed.

Those treaties are also US laws.

That makes him a US criminal as well
 as an international criminal.

His ill gotten war profiteering assets
are also subject to confiscation, no matter
where in the world they are hidden.

Accountability, hah!
There goes the US moral superiority.

Too bad Americans haven’t filed a complaint on American soil.
I’d like to see Rumsfeld a fugitive for the rest of his life.

I hope he likes his new bug out home on
the Bush/Cheney estate in Paraguay.

Don’t try this at home or anywhere else folks.
If you are a regular Joe, the U.S. embassy officials
will hand you over, not whisk you away, no matter
how outrageous the charges filed against you in a
foreign country and no matter how much they know its false.

Trust me on this one.

Go France…
