Just made two batches of dog biscuits. I have started to play around with recipes on my own mainly because I know what my dogs love to eat.
If Petey could eat fruits and veggies everyday he would be a happy dog. He loves bananas, berries, tomatoes, zucchini, green beans, spinach, lettuce, pumpkin .... the list goes on. Joe and Lola like most fruits and veggies but not all.
Today I made a batch of tomato/basil/garlic biscuits. And then another batch of the same except added a bit of Parmesan cheese. The dogs loved them and even Dave said they didn't taste bad. Of course I tasted them to ..... and like Dave said add just a few more ingredients and we'd have a great people biscuit.
An opportunity may come our way in the near future and I'm thinking of starting a business built around dog biscuits. Dave agrees that it is something that could work ..... along with a large greenhouse to produce our own fresh fruits and veggies to be used in the biscuits as well as to sell to the public.
Since I need to pick up some dog pills / shots today I'm going to ask the vet about any ingredients that would not be good for the dogs. And I'm going to take a couple samples with me too.
But I am going to want feedback from customers as well. So thinking of asking you all who have dogs ..... to let me send you a few samples ..... free ..... to get that feedback. What they liked and what they didn't ..... so if you think you would like to give the biscuits a try ..... let me know .....
