Ropes Course @ MindSay

Freshman orientation
So around a week ago there was a 2-day "orientation" for the freshmans - but it wasn't exactly that.  On the pamphlet it said something about a "ropes course" at the nature center.  I had no idea what that was...
I got to Lansing at 8 or whenever we were supposed to be there and sat down at a table.  I had my nametag which had lots of info on it like my locker #, which bus I was, etc.  A couple of kids sat down with me who turned out to be friends with eachother and introduced themselves as Robin and Ben.  After the principle made some announcements and such we all got a paper with a bunch of statements on it.  (i.e. I own a cat ______)  We had to go around the room asking people random questions from the list.  "Have you been on vacation out of the country?"  "No, but I have 2 or more dogs."  Then you would exchange the papers and sign them for eachother.  I didn't have enough time to finish mine but I got close.

Then we got on the buses.  Man...I've been on city buses which I like, but school buses are awful.  Hot, stuffy, full of SCREAMING kids and no leg room to speak of.  Thankfully since I live out of the district I'll just be driving with my dad when he goes to teach there for the school days.  We took the 30 or so minute drive to the nature center and got off.  It turns out the "ropes course" was a series of climbing rope activities.  The one I did was climbing up a tree with sort of overlarge staples stuck in the side 40 feet. (With a rope attached to a harness I was wearing.)  40 feet is a lot higher than you think...especially when you're up that high balancing on a wire, walking across 20 feet to the next tree.  There was a rope going parallel to the wire that you could hold on to, but it wasn't very tight so you had to lean way forward.  That sure got your adrenaline moving. ;)

After that we had lunch then did a bunch of little games in the woods.  It was all pretty fun but I came home completely exhausted.

The next day we stayed at the high school most of the time and did things like open our lockers, walk around the building to the rooms we had to go to in order, and do some teamwork-related games.  Its all pretty hard to explain but again, it was fun and tiring.

wow my dreams can`t be normal can they?
i used to update this thing all the time so im gonna start that again.soooo...today i woke up at 4--in the afternoon!i guess all that sleeplessness from the lock in and everything has caught up with me.errr!i feel really icky now and i probably won`t sleep tonight!well,i had the weirded dreams last night or today rather.the first one was about the cafeteria at bms we were in trouble so we had eat with out chairs in the dark and in silence so for some reason the teachers all left and logan sat down in one of their chairs and so isat down this other big kid i know pushed me to the floor and sat down.and out of know where(this is so unrealistis this dude is off at college)a person i do not wish to name came and kicked his ass!whoo! go hewhoidonotwish2name!then the second dream was that i had a home ec. class(i m not even taking home ec.)that a requirement was that you had to get pregnant and i was pregnant at graduation.that was the scary one.and the third one is that there was a hard class and we had to complete difficult tasks.well, the highschool was surounded with water and we were all in row boats and some of the windows had ropes attached we had to all climb up the ropes and into the school for the next tasks so ryan cabrara(his music sucks and i can`t spell his name)went first and i was in a towel i don`t remember why and i had to go next so i asked for him to throw down his pants so no one would see my backside.so i put them on and climbed up the robe.i don`t remember the rest of it but it was really stupid!
