Roommate Ads @ MindSay

After work I went to the bank and deposited the cash from the sale of the Miata.  It was nice to see it in my bank account.  Too bad half of it will go to the BMW next month when I take it in for some scheduled maintenance that needs to be done.

 

I am still looking for a roommate.  Roommate.com is nothing but a bunch of scammers.  All I get are people labeling themselves as out of the country looking for a place to stay for the summer.  All they ask is my bank account info so they can send me a deposit.  Ha! Yeah right.

 

Once I get a roommate, if I ever do, I can go through with building a garage for the house.  Tonight is a perfect example of why I want one.  It just rained and I do not want to put the car cover on over a wet car.  It will keep moisture in, not out.  That leads to rust.  With the car cover not on, the chance for scratches from the neighborhood cats, including Pebbles, grows greatly.  I may end up at dusk going out there with a shammy, drying it and then covering it.  Yeah that is what I will do after this blog since it has quit raining.

 

My cat Wiz is starting to get tooooo attatched to me.  She keeps following me aroung all over the house.  She wined outside my bedroom door for twenty minutes last night until I let her in.  She climbs up on the couch and sits with me every single time I sit down.  She follows me into the rooms I go to.  O.k., this is getting to be too much.  She may find herself outside for a while real soon.

 

This weekend two things are going to happen.  I get the dining room set delivered and I should be able to finish the last major part of my remodeling that needs to be done.  There will still be one room left that needs some work but that is easy stuff.

 

Is it Thursday yet?  I am taking Friday off from work to wait on the dining room set to be delivered.

I have decided to look for a roommate.  A female non-smoker to be exact.  One who tolerates animals.  I have made this decision after I bought a car today.  With the onset of car payments coming on I need some other avenue for income and a roommate seems like the best choice for the moment.

 

I bought a 1999 BMW M3 Coupe today.  I get it delivered later this week.  I am so excited but dreading the payments.  I have not had to make a car payment in some time.  The income from a roommate will help with that.  I have had good luck in the past with roommates so I hope that my luck will continue.  I am going to take out an ad in the paper and post some notices at the college that is near for me.

So this is strange: I just got back from Carroll and I enter my dorm room. I'm sitting at my computer looking at my emails when I hear a knock at the door, my roommate is not in the room. It's my RA. She just smiles at me and says "How was your weekend?" like she is truely concerned. Whatever. Anyways, I tell her that it was fine. Then she was like, "Can I talk to you?"

"Sure alright"

She closes the door behind her as she enters. Then she was like, "So how are your roommate and you getting along?"

"Fine I guess, we don't really have any major drama. It's not like we're close or anything."
She says, "Do you have any issues about her?"

I'm thinking WTF? "Not really, none that I can think of"

Then she says, "Well, she's told me that she has some issues, but I think we'll work that out when we re-evalute our roommate agreements tomorrow night. OK?"

"Alright"

Then she leaves with a smile and a goodnight. Now why she even came in I don't even know. The only possible thing  I can think of that my roommate has a problem with is when I occasionally come in smelling of smoke. Not because I smoke (trust me I stopped), but because my friends smoke and probably carry that onto me. Either that or she has a major deal with the X-box or cell phone talking with my boyfriend. I don't know why she just didn't come out and tell me if she has a problem. Whatever. I just thought it was odd that my RA came in like that.

 

Ok, well besides that, I'd have to say my weekend was a complete blast!!! I loved hanging out with Ryan. Last night we went and met Alli L. and her new boyfriend Chad. It was a party and yes we got drunk, but I know how you guys don't want to hear about it. All and all it was hilarious and fun. The rest of the time we were lazy because I didn't have a car to drive anywhere in. We watched a lot of movies (as usual) and watched his cat Kittydog go psychotic on us. What can I say? We had nothing better to do! :) I enjoyed every moment with him and I was so glad that I got to go home this weekend. Away from my evil RA. I only spent about 2 hours on my German too! I kind of gave up. I'm confused, but I'm hoping it'll just click for me.Other than that, I just can't wait for German to be over and to see my hun again.
