There's only us, there's only this...
Community blogs are a funny thing. A post here. And there. A brief insight into the mind of a stranger. The frenzy of a new thing - the toy, a fad. Two to three posts a day. A post a day. Once a week. A month. Gone.

You've gotten to know the parts of some people that they wanted you to know. Some people you think you know very well. But in blog-dom, it's easy to drift away.....never to be heard from again.

It parallels life. Friends lost. Memories gained.

At least beauty is eternal.

The same day as my granny's birthday the family decieded to all go shopping and then meet to go out for dinner.  My parents, brother, and my family decieded to go to the mall where the sporting store and Barnes and Nobles is at.  On our way to the Mall, Randy and I drove past an accident with a rig carrying rolls of paper.  It was really windy out that day.  The rig was manavering a curve and took it to fast and the wind blew him right over.  This again happened in April of this year.

Bo Diddley

Bo Diddley suffered a stroke in Council Bluffs, IA sometime yesterday while preforming a concert in.  Now if you don't know who Bo is, then I strongly suggest you all go google him and download some of his music.  IMO he is one of the best Rock and Roller's out there.  He is in the R & R Hall of Fame.

Luckley he is getting some of the best care in NE and Western IA.  He is in guarded condition at the Creighton University Medical Center.  Creighton and University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha are some of the best hospitals in the midwest.  A lot of folks will choose to travel to them instead of a city closer to them across Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska,  and South Dakota due to the high level of care.  My own mother choose to go up to Creighton, and UNO for her cancer treatment instead of staying in our local area or traveling to Sioux Falls or Lincoln which are also known for their great cancer treatments and hospitals.

Best Wishes to Bo to pull through this and to his family.

starry eyed

It's a waning moon week. The ebbing of last weeks emotional tide. While the weekend's drama is fresh we can take a peek back and see that they weren't worthy of awards and that the boogey man was just a bad string of mind thoughts. We have a Leo through Libra run this week, a nice part of the Zodiac. Heart and passion then mind and concentration giving way to a blend of them for the betterment of all. They say health is better measured by one's ability to heal and intelligence not by what is known but the capacity to learn.

There are some hard aspects for the outer planets this week, they move slower and so it takes longer for them to build, see in your head two slow moving hands on a clock in your head. As if one was a minute hand and the other the two minute hand slowly catching it.

Monday the week begins with a sizzle. A welcome break from the body sensitivity of the weekend. Leo is the heart and passions. We can connect with our source of passion, way before it's been projected onto person, place or thing. In the evening the Sun moves into Sagittarius. Focusing the vibrancies in a beam. We can get a reading on our sense of internal direction but just observing where our attention wanders to but how the attention arises in the first place. Like looking for a magnet by reading the direction the metal filings are pointing towards.

Tuesday we still have the Sun and Moon in fire mojo working, Saturn will turn retrograde ,staying that way for the rest of the winter and spring all the way until into April. Take an honest look in the mirror, yeah we're all sexy but what could use some attention? The cells made from the way you eat your food, the emotions and thoughts not just the menu items are the cells you're working with next week. Metabolize consciously! Non-judgmental surveys of the state of health are accurate today. The brave and the willing can save a lot of pain by taking preventative action now. It takes less energy to stay healthy then it does to recover from illness.

Wednesday the Sun freshly in Sagittarius squares the Moon. We begin the last quarter of the lunar cycle. The big uglies and scary aspects of others and ourselves are more apparent and less shocking. While we have this clear vision of the dark side feel free to tweak with it at will. The Virgo Moon lends a mental hand, would be a good time to break the demon up into a series of lists, a step-by-step format for slaying or converting those dragons.

Thursday is the most mentally electric of the week, Virgo Moon and the Sun sits on a
retrograde Mercury. Many run at the mention of Mercury Retrograde but here is a perfect chance to turn into an evolutionary component. Refine that missive you need to send out to the world, see at the depths the structure of your communication style and use it. We often mis-estimate the impact we have. Over and under but under this Solar influence we get more accurate estimation that is close to reality. Shifting your style of relating is always fashionable if it leads to better reception. You can't excuse ungraceful honesty by saying, "well it's the truth." Truth is subjective.

Friday the moon is without aspect or void of course most of the day. Best to tack with the winds as they are rather than attempt to change them. You can't push the river whether it's in the earth or sky. Late night the moon slips into Libra and we have that ability to see the middle from the edges. It's best to not get caught in the middle so experimenting with advice given or received in a sense of the ultimate goal: resolution. To often we just repeat the same arguments like they are a script, just changing the minor details over what they are about. Tonight we begin to see, if you wish to look, at the pattern they take and with that vision we can get to the root rather than just shredding leaves over and over.

Saturday We have a day of exchange. internal and external dialogues. Still with this awareness we can now feel the disorienting influence seeing all sides can bring. Where is the 'I' in this storm anyway? Mercury continues it's backward slide and slips into Scorpio where she'll be until turning direct on the 3rd of December. Secrets are slippery now, watch for those skeletons coming out of the closet on their own power. It's about time for some stark realities about the administration and the critical mass of exposure that's been building will be reached before Mercury turns direct. In our intimate community now is a time for underlying unspoken's to be spoke. With a big breath and a wish to hear or say what has been under the surface. The relief of not having to carry around one of these 'unspokens' often gives the energy needed to emotionally metabolize it.

Sunday we get a boost to this pattern of community diplomacy with a Jupiter Uranus trine bringing together the signs of Scorpio and Pisces. This expansive aspect can be startling so be ready to shift your mental paradigm at all times. Flexibility relieves the shock of seeing things in a new light. Long before we judge whether that new turn of events or 'fact' is bad or good we have to adjust to the shock of a minute ago we had no idea. Many people can't deal with revolutionary thinking about what they considered, 'the way things are'. So be gentle if you're channeling fresh ideas on this level, the act of revelation itself is a force that must be absorbed before one can discern what it has to do with you. So check in and sense if it's something you should be saying to yourself in the mirror or to the world at large.

Strap him with an AK-47...

Lets go march on DC and demand a new party. This 2-party system has had quite enough. We can call our party the "Champocrats", and I'm sure we'll be opposed by "Uncleublicans"

And then it'll de-evolve back into a bloated 2-party system, where I become either a corrupt fat-cat, or an environmental terrorist who kills anyone who cuts down a tree, while my arch-nemesis institute a scorched earth policy and procure copious funding from mult-national corporations thereby instituting in a new era of bigger and worse corruption.

Which has me wondering if anything in the current poltical system can change, regardless of overthrowing parties or bringing in a third or fourth option. Since they get funding from lobbyists and big business, they eventually become nothing more than a megaphone for that business.

And history is littered with good intentions and changing affiliations. It may surprise people to know that once the Democratic party was highly endorsed by the KKK while Republicans were abolitionists.

Now, how the tables have turned, but both are still holding fast to the teat of big business.

The only option I see is to do away with allowing corporations to have personhood. Public financing of campaigns.

Maybe it's time to bring back the "Know-Nothing" party.
