Rockstar Inxs @ MindSay

Dear Jasmine,

Remeber that first time that you saw Jordis Unga in Rockstar: INXS? That euphoric feeling when you fell in love with her and her voice. Ahhhhhh, yes, yes you do. You just listened to Baba O'Riley, the first song you ever heard her sing. Ahhhh, yes, her rendition is beautiful. Remember when you first saw the commercial for the show and you knew that she was the one that you would like? Ahhhh, yes!

Ok. So Suzy got kicked off Rockstar: INXS today. It was lame because she has a really good voice. I love it. Anyhoot... it pissed me off, Marty is in the finale though... along with J.D(who is an arrogant ass.) and Mig (who isn't all that good) so hopefully Marty will do well, we (as in me and my mummy) are tuning into the Rockstar: INXS season finale next Tuesday at 10/9 central so BE THERE OR BE A LOOSER!

That is the question I ask myself everytime I sit down and watch "ROCK STAR: INXS". Aside from "I Need You Tonight" I couldn't name an INXS song if my life depended on it and they have been without a lead singer for around ten years or so since Michael Hutchence's suicide (which ranks as one of the top ten celebrity deaths but thats a story for another time). So why look for a new lead singer now? I don't recall there being a huge outcry for an INXS reunion.


But the biggest problem I have with this show is that most of the contestants are too talented to waste their time fronting a relic like INXS.



My favorite on the show is Jordis Unga who sang one of my favorite songs ever, David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold the World", and did a darn good job. Her version was no where near as good as the Nirvana version (which is even better than Bowie's) but she was better than anything INXS ever put out in their entire career.
Plus she's hot in a Predator crossed with an opening act at Lilith Fair '98 kinda way.
