This is to compare Amanda Congdon's and Rocketboom's first regular day of business since Amanda's departure (read: firing). I've been following both sites because even though my loyalty is to Amanda, I'm curious to see how both sides continue to handle the situation. To explain my loyalties: I'm a recent discoverer of Rocketboom. Since I've been watching, Amanda has been running things both in front of and behind the camera. Andrew Barron, the original co-creator who has been "absent" for 2 months, has returned now that Amanda is gone.
Amanda Congdon:
10 AM - Amanda announces she's travelling to New Jersey that evening to film pieces for MSNBC's
Scarborough Country.
10 PM - Amanda is back and says it was a great experience. Footage will be up later this week, probably on the actual show as well as the internet.
RocketBoom:
9 AM - First episode of Rocketboom sans Amanda Congdon is not up, yet. No biggie. Amanda's been late before.
11 AM - Still no episode.
1 PM - I notice a note on the Rocketboom site. Episode up later today.
3 PM - Same notice on site. I give up waiting.
10:45 PM - I see someone made a post on Amanda's blog that Rocketboom's episode has been delayed until Tuesday.
11:15 PM - Rocketboom's website is broken. Not sure how long it's been down.
7/11 @ 7 AM - Rocketboom's site is still down.
