Big Paper : Stem Cell Research/last night's dream
Today I am going to be working an my HUGE American National Government Research Paper. I chose Stem Cell Research because it is a very political topic. It's a 2000 word paper, with at least 3 sources and at least 1 of those has to be an online source. It has to have in-text citiations and a works cited page (of course!)

We aren't supposed to choose sides, but present a balanced representation of the facts. I am somewhere around 750 words, 5 paragraphs in. It's due by 10 pm tomorrow night, but I am hoping to have it done today. I hope the research paper writing muse is on my side.

Last night's dream:

I was in Alabama in the neighborhood where my Dad lives.  I had bought a house and I was walking my dog Minnie around the neighborhood. She got loose so I chased her to this huge thrift store. She went inside. I was lost it was so big (like several neighborhoods big) and I found a purse on one of the tables.  I realized that the purse had been one of mine years ago when I was engaged to a guy named Alex. This other lady at a computer was about to buy the purse and I said, "That used to be mine and I forgot to get the pictures out" so I dug around in the purse and pulled out a bunch of pictures of Alex. I was trying to make sure the cashier didn't see me and think I was shoplifting. The girl at the computer said, "I have this program where you can look at his family." And I said "Oh cool." On the screen was just a black and white list of names. I decided it was time to leave with my pictures and I spent the rest of the dream trying to escape from the thrift shop. The end.

FREEDOM!!!!!!!
The shackles are off.
The gates have opened, freedom!
Fresh air for the soul.

Like the Haiku? If you didn't get the meaning...my research paper is done!
That's right I can blog freely again! To celebrate, I'm eating popcorn and studding for 3 tests tomorrow! Junior year sucks!

1016 - Frantic
Sorry I have not updated in a few days... to those who actually check this thing regularly.

Here's a list of things I will be doing soon that involves MindSay:

1) FAKE PLASTiC RADiO will be revived via mouth-to-mouth sometime in the near future.  FPRadio slipped into a pool unsupervised sometime around June and started drowning.  I pulled it out of the pool but I haven't had time to resuscitate it.  Soon though...

2) The Best Album of 2006 Poll will be coming soon!  I started this last year and it was really fun.  I just wish more people had voted.  But people are lazy, including me.  It still worked though.  I'm hoping it will work even better now.  Basically once voting opens, any user on MindSay can come by here to Nominate an album for votes.  The Top 10 Nominations will then be posted so that you can then vote on those.  Once the Top 10 Nominees have been voted for, I tally the votes and post the results.  Last year Beck's "Guero" won, and Coldplay's "X&Y," John Mayer Trio, and System of a Down's "Mezmerize" and "Hypnotize" were in the 4 positions after.

3) We may be buying a family videocamera soon to film family trips and stuff like that, and when it's not being used to film family trips and family stuff, I'll be using it to start making vlogs and other random tidbits some of you may find fascinating.

But right now I have to get back to schoolwork.  I have a Psychology paper on "The Euphoric Effect of Music" and a Film paper on the wonderful director David Lynch to write, both due no later than Wednesday.

Thursday we'll be leaving for Atlanta to catch our 10:30 flight to LA.  Due to our extremely generous Uncle, we'll be flying first class both ways.  We get to LA Thursday and will stay until the 20th.  We will then fly back to Atlanta to go spend a couple days (including Thanksgiving) at my other Uncle's house with family.

I'll definitely be taking lots of pictures along the way, and maybe even some video, so look forward to that.

Have a wonderful Sunday,
-Alex
