Allow me to introduce to you Candidate X. Candidate X believes the following things:
There should be sharp restrictions on abortion. Candidate X's position is contrary to the Supreme Court's
Roe v Wade ruling that recognized the right of women to control their reproductive capacity.
There is a Constitutional right for individual citizens to keep and bear arms for personal use. Candidate X believes that the Second Amendment, despite its emphasis of gun ownership in the context of a well-regulated militia, constrains a community's ability to protect its members from gun violence. To wit, there can be no gun ban.
The government shall enlarge the scope of government-funded faith-based organizations. Candidate X does not believe the establishment clause of the First Amendment was meant to keep church and state separate. In other words, Candidate X wants to transfer tax-payer dollars to religious organizations.
The government has the power to spy on its citizens and grant retroactive immunity to private corporations who cooperate with government surveillance, as well as grant immunity to government agents who violate the privacy of American citizens. Candidate X believes that the Fourth Amendment does not afford citizens the right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, that is searches without probably cause supported by oath or affirmation describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The problems of the black community are largely attributable to a culture that teaches fathers to be irresponsible, children to fail in school, and women to have babies out of wedlock. Candidate X argues that the way to improve academic performance among black children is to stop eating fried chicken. Candidate X argues that best economic plan for struggling black communities would be to convince residents to stop throwing trash out of their car windows. Candidate X furthermore argues that the old guard of the black civil rights tradition are a collection of bitter and frustrated old men who have a false and pessimistic view of America.
