reflex reflux

for five days I have had this burning hit in the upper part of my abdomen, below the diaphragm. tums, rolaids, bland food did nothing to relieve it. but last night while we watched Barack Obama accept the mandate of america, the pain disappeared. I knew I was worried. buy how much worried I was had hidden itself from me. So much is at stake in America and now we have a leader who can see both sides of a story. can see across the oceans and is smart, flexible and ready to finally do the work of governing that we so very much need in America. Finally! I too believe this was a transformative election and let's get behind the people we elected and ask them to start governing again. we really need them.

2 steps forward and 1 and a half steps back

Phsbum goes running with her recruiter early every Monday, Weds, and Friday, so when the phone rang at 7:17,  that horrible "Oh No!" feeling of dread rose quickly!   Sure enough, car won't start!  No amount of battery-cable-wiggling helped.  Lights are on, radio works ... I quickly surmise ... the Starter is not doing its job!!!   I called roadservice ... She's parked at a middle school, in the parking lot ... at 7:30, she was alone.  Now, she is buried by school busses and still no road service in sight.

Hmmmm and I was wondering whether to have the oil changed or pay an extra bill to get ahead.  Hah!  Silly me ... I know everyone has their "mountain to climb", so to speak.  (Some have poor health, some have unhappy relationships & some have financial woes.)  There really are times when it seems I'm taking 2 steps forward and 1 and a half steps back ... *sigh*

8:37 update:  After all ... a little more battery-cable-wiggling DID work ... It's running ... She ran ... Now they're both running home to momma!  ;)

Feeling Better

So, today is a day off. Only cause my crappy company , Tops Friendly Markets, refuses to give me full time. A spot which I believe I have earned.

Now dwelling in the thing I hate most in my life. I got out of bed at 11 am. To drive my father over to west wood park in Lancaster. They are having a stag for someone. So, he's out getting drunk. As usual. After dropping him off, I returned home. Where I applied rain-x to his car window, cause it sucks to drive that car in the rain , compared to mine.

After doing that, I retired to my room, where I fired up the PC. This after doing my best last night to fix a PC error. The next thing, if what I have done doesn't work. Is to get Ms. Barbie to come over and take a look at this thing.

While leaving the PC online and running, I went and picked up my mother from her job at 3 PM. Then returned home. Where she ordered dinner. I got a steak and cheese sub. Yum. After eating and watching TV.  I was bored.

So I went to the Walden galleria, to a place called fast fix jewelry repair. To have one of my necklaces shortened. That took till 7 PM. When I got the chain back , all shortened, and went home.

Upon getting home. I returned to the PC, and to my TV. Which rather sucks tonight. Anyone know any good TV shows that are worth watching? That might interest me.

Right now, I have my chain on, the PC fixes seem to be working, and I am watching world cup soccer. Cause there is nothing else on, and nothing to do.

So, lets see, what's on my mind? The same old bull shit that has been on my mind the past couple of blog's, crappy TV, and well really that's about it. My mood has improved but I am still not happy. God only remembers when I was last "happy."

.It was a hit and run. A deer leapt on my car and ran away. Sigh.
