Finally i get a chance to be here! Been so busy with school. But glad to blog once again:)

Anyway...
Saturday we went to the Texas Renaissance fest (we being callmeroger, torridgirl, myclette,  environgirl and I met up probably for the last festival meet up this year. All i have to say is that it was great.
We also met up with one of Roger's good friends which all in all it was nice seeing him again, especially when he drove all the way from Austin to go. ^_^
Now being 21...well it does require more responsibility but also more freedom. Anyways will await was there is to come in the future.
But on Friday i unfortunately had to work (was called in :() but Roger took me some early birthday presents! I was so blushed because working in the E.R. having people come in for complaints, a lovely man came in to give me (a dozen) pink and red roses, a cute toy cat and chocolates! Now, I don't work close to either one of our places, especially his, so it was very sweet of him to do take it all the way over there and i am proud to gloat about it teh he. ;)

I know, it took me a bit to post my entry about the recent Mindsay meetup at the Texas Renaissance Festival's "1001 Dreams" weekend. After that day, I had a lot of things to catch up on. But here it is! MY TURN!

Uyoku and I left Sugar Land, TX at around 7:30am. We pretty much headed straight for Magnolia / Plantersville, TX. and it only took us about an hour. We took the US-249 to FM-1774 route to get there.

We made a quick stop for breakfast (and costume change) at the Burger King perpendicular to FM-1774. It was 8:30am and it seems like we got to the vicinity quite early. We changed from our regular clothes to our costumes at the convenience store next to Burger King. We didn't change to it all the way, I still had my Sketchers shoes on. After that, I withdrew $100 from Woodforest's ATM and after that, we went ahead and drove up to the fairgrounds.

At the fairground's parking lot, that's when we decided to complete our costumes.

At around 2pm, we met up with Torridgirl, Myclette, E-Girl and MoreArt4u.

I don't quite know how this happens, but we tend to get split up from the rest of the 'sayers. Uyoku and I ended up at a Hookah Bar and smoked out for the next 30 minutes or so:

After eating at the Polish Court, we all decided to the Hookah Bar to smoke out. But for a party of 6, it wasn't gonna be easy. So we set up an appointment for after 5pm. Uyoku and I decided to walk around to kill some time. Here's a few pics that my tireless camera took:



Time to meet back up with the 'sayers at the Hookah Bar! This time, "chocolate mint" flavor. We were just carefree with the things we were saying or singing. I mean, when a group like this sings the whole "Bohemian Rhapsody" in public, that Hookah must be laced! j/k



After we left the hookah bar, some random dude wanted to take a pic of all of us. After he took a picture, I handed him my camera and asked to take one more:



After taking that pic, we got split up again. I think it's because Uyoku and I are pretty easily distracted. When dusk came along, I went in search for the wooden cups I planned to buy. While I'm at it, I was also able to regain my memory on fixing puzzle rings!

It took us forever to get home. So I decided to use my car's GPS to navigate us out of Plantersville, TX. and into The Woodlands, TX. When we got to The Woodlands, we changed to our regular clothes at the MH Hospital's bathroom and we set sail homebound. The drive back home, took us 2 freakin' hours, all because of the traffic at Plantersville / Magnolia, TX (FM-1774).


There's going to be another meetup at the Texas Renaissance Festival coming up. I think everyone has decided that we're going to hold the Mindsay Meetup on Saturday, November 8, 2008: The Roman Bacchanal! I'm still undecided whether I'm gonna wear a costume or not. Uyoku will be dressing up for sure, either a Gypsy (OMG, that would be so hot) or Toga!

I'm hoping more Mindsayers are gonna make it to the Roman Bacchanal themed weekend... 

Looks like I'm the only guy in the pic... and the only one that's "Out-Of-Theme".  You can't make me dress up like a fairy.  Noooo, nooo, no. (but I did carry a MAN-PURSE)

I have to get some sleep. I've been busy playing catch-up on my personal errands and chores today. I can't get yesterday out of my mind. I'll post a buttload more pics tomorrow, (Yes, it will include a Llama's Ass!)

There will be more MindSay Meetups next time, I hope. In Texas, we're gonna do what The Romans do... at the Roman Bacchanal!!! (Saturday, November 8, 2008: Date confirmed)

Hopefully, The Victorians make it to that one! :)  I really wish they were there to smoke out on that peace-pipe.

Howdy Howdy all!
Well if you dont know by now then you have been missing what is absolutely cool about Me, Torridgirl , Moreart4u , Myclette ,Callmeroger , and the lovely Uyoku .
That's right, because we 6 have a surplus of cool, we were able to attend the Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, Texas without scratching our Crazy, Sexy, Cool exteriors. How about a few pics and videos from the day.

Check out the Centaur trying not to trample Torridgirl ! Let's all point and stare at Moreart4u  for not dressing in period regalia! BOO...HISSSS! I did NOT want to take this photo but then the Indian dude was like "Since you won't come to me I'll come to you" Now that is a man who deserves a second look my friends... Here is my favorite pic of me and Myclette.. And here is my favorite of Torridgirl ... Could Uyoku  look any more Fairy-like? I think not! Check out the love birds.... This dude was Hella cool looking with his mated live snakes on his person... Ahh the Birds of Prey...Torridgirl  and I missed this entire performance trying to find the chicken on a stick stand...
