Ren Faire @ MindSay

Finally!  Here are a couple of photo's from the Roman Bachnal weekend at my 2nd visit of this year to The Texas Ren Fest.  I don't have many of the 1st weekend photo's available as my computer went buggy right about that time.  However I have quite a few good ones of myself and Environgirl from the 2nd.  Enjoy!

I forgot to show you the pics I took from the Roman Bachnaal weekend of Ren Faire! My and Torridgirl  Had a great time and she once again did the bulk of the work on  my costume and made her own as well! She is fantastic and is working feverishly to get her computer fixed so she can rejoin the mindsay party!

 

anyway here is me...aint I a doll. You dont have to answer that! Doesnt that topiary look like it's being balanced on my head?! LOL!!!

 

and now here is Torridgirl! How adorable is that? Checkout the fancy headdress I made MYSELF out of the fake foliage you buy at Michael's! That's right grape leaves and bunches! Talk about fancy! My favorite part of the Faire is always the fireworks because there is a bagpipe ensemble that plays feverishly the whole time the fireworks are going. Here is a video snippet... Oh well that is all for now. I gotta meet up with the Cocoa Goddess to study! How about some poetry....here goes....

  Well, THIS IS IT!  Unless someone has a bright idea that I can get done by Saturday night, this is the final product.  Here is my only real remaining question... Should I use the red or silver side of the fabric showing?  Any opinions?  I'll figure out the hair that day.  I have a few ideas.  I plan to wear it down and put some ribbon in it.  Not too much jewlery.  It will be hot all day and rub on me.  Maybe some earings.  Possibly some jinggly bracelets.  We'll see!  Many pictures to come on the big day.

The Red was the original plan but when I saw it with the belt I started considering the silver.  ????

So the earache i've had for the past couple of days (since wednesday), has finally ended. Ended with a partially ruptured eardrum. YaY. Exactly what I wanted. I'm on a bunch of different drugs to keep the same from happening in my other ear and from furthering the other ear. I can find out my IB scores tomorrow at 11 and i'm really nervous. I really want my IB diploma and if i don't recieve it, i'll be desolute. I'm not depressed or anything. I'm just... anxious and I want a good reason to talk to the cute guy in charge of IB credits. haha... I hope... I wish... I can't wait to go to the ren faire again with the bunch and i can't wait to live. IB scores, yay, IB scores. i have an alarm for the time GMT I can get my scores, although i might just wait for a couple of days. I know I'm a weirdo. So until tomorrow.

Three more days till I hit the Renn Faire and two more days till my mother and brother move out of the apartment!
