Merde

It's 10:40. I have a religons class at 11. We will talk about the holy spirit and that rubbish. Last night was pathetic in every sense of the word.

On further news, I am extremely concerned with my hygiene. I took a shower today and discovered several new patchy birthmarks. Strange I know. They I rubbed them and they were not birth marks at all but rather dirt stuck to my skin. I rubbed them all off and continued to rub all over, skin or dirt was peeling off like a v. fast thing! It is now 10:44 and I will look pathetic in religon because I have to wear a yellow hat (I didn't wash my hair.) Also I am quite sure that my teacher is a complete creep.

Bye.

Symbolism: The Skull

Right now the pendant I have chosen to wear is a small sterling silver skull with hindged jaw. I have been going over the meaing of the skull  and found this :

The transitoriness of life; The Vanity of worly things; death; memento mori; the moon; the shades; the dying sun; gods of the dead; Lime “The skull is, on the other hand, a symbol of the vital lice-force contained in the head. The skull with the crossbones indicates death, the thigh also symbolizing a vital force, that of the. loins; the flag carrying the skull and cross bones is an emblem of pirates. Alchemic: With the raven and the grave, the skull is a symbol of the blackening and mortification of the first stage of the Lesser Work, `earth to earth’, and signifies dying to the world; but it is also that which survives and so is used as a reminder of-life and transmutation. Buddhist: (”Tantric) The skull filled with blood symbolizes the renunciation of life. It is an emblem of Yama, god of the dead, and of Tara in her dark aspect. Christian: The sanity of’ worldly things; contemplation of’ death, hence an emblem of hermits. The skull with the cross is eternal life after Christ’s death oil Golgotha, the `place of the skull’, where Adam’s skull was said to be buried. Emblem of SS Francis of Assisi, Jerome, Mary Magdalene, Paul. Graeco-Roman: Attribute of Cronos/Saturn as Time. Hindu: The skull filled with blood dcpicts renunciation of life; it is an attribute of Kali/Durga. The skull also appears with Yams, as god of the dead, and with Suva and Kale as destroyers. Mayan: With the skeleton, the skull is a symbol of the god of death and the underworld.

I guess there are many reason's that I identify with the skull as my personal symbol. Another reason being that people that I watch on TV use it in own way as well.  Such as wwe superstars (WWF went I was growing up), and now people such as Dale Earnhardt Jr, bikers, Criss Angel , pirate of the Caribbean , just to mention a few.

I also own craved several crystal skulls that adorn the night stand and finding new and interesting skulls a fun activity. Which will be more easy now that a holiday that uses them a lot is coming up. That being Halloween next month.

Finally I found a couple more links that I would like to include in here, so you can look up the skull symbolism for yourself. Here are those links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skull_(symbolism) and http://www.answers.com/topic/skull-and-crossbones .

Religon

So every year my family and I go to church from 6:30 to 7:30. But over the last few I find Im getting less and less liking of this. Why? Because i honestly can't/don't beleive in God, Jesus Christ, and religon in general.

But I guess I can't say anything to my grama or mom about it. I'll just get yelled at.

Oh well it's only once a year for an hour.

I'll drag my athiest ass there anyways.

Miller

ps- thjats not to say I acctualy  have a problem with religion. I dont mind people being religious. Just dont try shoving it down my throat.

The Golden Compass
I plan to see it because Christian groups are boycotting it. It is interesting, the dichotomy of this statement:

"the film will encourage children to read the novels, which he says "denigrate Christianity" and promote "atheism for kids." as said by the Catholic League president.

As if instead of keeping children in a perpetual lie of fairy tales is better than non-belief. Since when is promoting "Christianity for kids" any better than promoting "rationale non-believers"?

I found some God bones
You wouldn't know it by the coverage of the mass media (who consistiently claims that 'scholars' and 'scientists' dispute the find), but an 27 year old discovery is back in the limelight, claiming the be the actual burial place of that guy Jesus that some of you believe is going to come back and slaughter us one day for our non-belief.

Not only that, but the tomb contained people like 'the son of Jesus' and 'Mary the master', thereby lending more creedance to the FOOLISH Hollywood Dan Brown notion that Jesus was just a man who got married, fornicated, and died and was buried.

But yes - back to the 'scholars' that dispute the find. Stephen Phan, biblical scholar at the Holy Land University. And Albert Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary dispute this find...thus people who belong to the *ahem* universities, and are in no way archaeaologists, thus get credit for being 'the scientific community that disputes this fine' - all while calling into question James Cameron's motives.....

Hmmm....the way I see it, someone isn't too comfortable with their belief system.
