A Productive But Relaxing Day
Let's see, what have I done today? Worked out, showered, went to Starbucks and drank coffee/read the New York Times, went to the library, made lunch...pretty productive, by my standards. I think that allows me to take 3 hours and watch V For Vendetta, because it's going to be on tv at 3:30 and I want to see it.

Relaxation
Ok so... I'm done with work! Yay! Time to relax before I go back to school... this Friday. Well I've visited with most my friends and gone and done some fun stuff. Drank some really good wine and smoked some really nice Cigars. I've discovered that a lot has changed for my friends. Some moved out and got a cool apartment. Two of them went to Europe and one High School crush has a new BF after already finding the "one". I wish I could have seen some of the ones who I really miss. The have a life and kids now. Scary right?! Well I'm going to complete my chill week with a STYX concert. Freak'n hilarious right! I cut down a tree for my gf's parents and they take me to a STYX concert. Don't get me wrong I used to listen to their record and they are still cool. It's funny to think I'm old enough to be their grandkid. I think this will be great! Boston is playing with them... well... whatever. No-one cares for Boston anyways. I'm looking forward to a three doors down concert coming up this september. Well time to eat and go see a show! Hells yeah!

now the patio is done and I put a bonsai on the table temporarily. I did that one myself.
Now I really want to give a party.

Being a beach bum...

My days this week consist of getting a tan while the dog swims in the pool, eating breakfast, feeding the dog, going back to sleep, spending hours reading on the porch while listening to music, feeding the dog again, walking along the beach, getting reactions from guys in cars on the way back (even though I dont get near as many as I do when Sis is with me!), and then reading on the porch again before going to sleep. Ah, the easy days of a beach bum.  I'm liking this dog/house sitting thing this week, since Tybee is absolutely my favorite place in the entire world (so far, atleast. hehe), but I'm kinda lonely. Hmm... I need a boyfriend. ;o)

~I'm going to sit here on the porch some more.

PS- I found a "mermaid necklace" on the beach. It's actually an egg case (I know it sounds gross, but it's actually really pretty) for a knobbed whelk shell (which, coincidentally, is the state shell of both Georgia and New Jersey-- only Sis will get why NJ is relavent. Heh). I'll try to post a picture tomorrow after it's dried out... like anyone actually reads this blog and will be waiting for it? Heh. Oh well. It'll give me something to do.  Unless some hott guy amazingly shows up to distract me, I wont have anything more important to do.

 ;o)

done in

a quiet night at home was so delicious. Jim made a fire in the den foreplace and we snuggled in after a dinner of fried eggs bacon and english muffins- don't you love breakfast food for dinner?- we were too tired to do the shabbat thing after he spent the day painting sealer on the cedar fence and I cleaned up after the workmen left for two whole days- so we ate, plopped down on the den sofa and watched two epidoses of Mapp & Lucia.

If you like dry whimsical BBC shows this one is terrific. About the rivalry between highly pretentious but kindly  Mrs. Lucas ( Lucia) and her arch rival Elizabath Mapp. a dumpy little snitch and busybody from whom  Lucia is renting a summer house. E F Benson wrote the novels and they are wonderfully brought to life by Prunella Scales ( Faulty Towers) and Geraldine McElwan ( The current Miss Marple) but in her younger more patrician days.

Abi seemed to like ou stay at home night and even though we didn't try to close her in last night she spent most of the night spooned against me quite comfortably. She discusses this is depth at bloggingcat . Of course i have to type for her because she perserverates on the keyboard and most everything ends up looking like fffffffffffffffffhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhksssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Good thing she can't hit the control alt delete all at once but she HAS deleted thing. bad kitty.
