I don't believe I'm educated in politics enough to vote in the primaries ANYWAYS. An uneducated vote would be an injustice to the masses of people who vote based on sound opinion based on data they've gathered. It would be like I was back in elementary school, where you vote for the class president just because you heard they'd try to make there be more pizza days, but other than that, you know nothing else.
My dad asked me what my opinion was on the Iraq war and on Bush. I told him I honestly don't know. A lot of people are irate with him, and maybe that's credible, but I haven't researched this enough to come to a decision. Maybe people will groan and give me a zillion reasons why he's a horrible president, and that's fine. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. I don't know and I won't simply believe what my family believes right away.
I told my dad I hate politics, and he said, "Why does everyone hate politics?" So I retorted, "Because of people like you." I don't share my opinions on politics with anyone I know. Ever. Family, best friends, you name it. Unless the discussion of political values is going to mean getting a good grade or life or death, then you couldn't make me talk about it. I only talk about the lightest political issues that I DO know about, that I HAVE researched and found unbiased evidence upon, and usually those are simplistic issues like abortion or gun laws.
It just seems pointless to me to try to pretend I really DO know which party I'm more like, and somewhat shortsighted to choose the party when I haven't really been immersed in the actual political world via news or magazines.
Registration was easy. Yesterday I went to P-ville and registered for school. My advisor, who is also one of my professors, had most of my schedule planned out. I am very glad for that, because I think I would have run away. A music major gets pleasure of taking nine classes and seven of those are music...who would have thought?! My only core class is english and I have to take P.E. so step aerobics, here I come! I keep asking myself why I am majoring in music, but once I get back to it, I will fall in love with all the quarter notes, dotted half notes, and rests just like I do at the beginning of every year. On the other hand, my dorm in amazing!!! I have a private room, but a suite mate, in which we share the same bathroom. No going down the hall to pee! yay!!!! I have quite a bit of space in my room, which is good because i'm claustrophobic and I can't live in a box with a roomate. I hear that you need a roomate your freshman year, but I like to be alone most of the time, so this will workout very well. All of this is starting to finally hit me and i'm a bit overwhelmed. 
I just finished my application to the local community college!
My mom spoke with the admissions person today, and there is still room in the online course that I decided i'd like to take, so after my application is processed tomorrow, I have to call the online coordinator, and hope she lets me in it. If things go as planned, I start the 28th, taking Into to Nutrition. YES!
I'm so proud of myself, for making this decision today, and sticking with it, I actually feel alot better now and not so stressed.
The House passed and sent to President Bush legislation establishing a national Internet database designed to tell law enforcement and community officials where convicted sex offenders live and work.
The most serious offenders would be registered in the database for life. All sex offenders could face a felony charge punishable by 10 years in prison for failing to update their database information.
Offenders would be required to register in person.
The House passed the bill by voice vote, as did the Senate last week.
The legislation also sets mandatory minimum sentences of 25 years for kidnapping or maiming a child, and 30 years for sex with a child under 12 or for sexually assaulting a child 13 to 17.

.Finally, I’ve taken care of it. I’ve gotten it out of the way. All I can say now is, will I be happy?
.Orientation included a number of activities the school provided. Only half of these events were of any importance at all. However, I did get to do a few important things.
.First of all, I got to meet the head of the theatre department. He seems nice. I auditioned for him, as well as most of the other professors. They laughed more than I thought they would during my Metamorphoses monologue. Anyway, I think I did fairly well. They gave me a theatre scholarship for about $2200. I’m happy.
.I registered for classes. Apparently, I have to take several basic theatre classes before I can start my directing classes. So… this semester, I’ll be taking a basic acting class, a voice and diction class, and stagecraft. Stagecraft also comes with a three hour work period in the shop on Wednesdays. Along with those three classes, I’ll also be taking Honors Introduction to Anthropology for the three hours of social science I need, and Honors 101 to take the place of my freshman English class. It’s only thirteen hours, but everything else was closed. Oh, well… I at least got the teacher I wanted.
