Red Carpet @ MindSay

Oscar Night Fashion

Well the Oscars were not that bad this year, but they weren't that fantastic either.  The red carpet saw a lot of stars wearing navy and black, with a few pastels and metallics.  Nicole Kidman was the only one I saw in red, although the big bow on the side of her neck was a bit for me. Otherwise she looked stunning.

As for the red carpet fashion, here are my top five favorite dresses:

Helen Mirren

Penelope Cruz

Reese Witherspoon

Cate Blanchett

Rachel Weisz

These ladies looked fabulous!  You can see photos from the red carpet on Oscar's webiste oscar.com  You can also find some red carpet pics at my favorite gossip blog website www.perezhilton.com

Given my obsession with celebrity culture, I naturally watched Sunday's Emmy Awards. Now, I don't watch so much to see who wins as to assess the red-carpet fashion. Thus, I humbly offer my votes for this year's Emmy fashion highs and lows.

Love it:

Rachel Bilson

Marcia Cross

Felicity Huffman

Charlize Theron

Not bad:

Alyson Hannigan

Portia de Rossi -- most fashion commentators trashed the look, but I'm compelled to rise to the defense of my female celeb-crush and say I rather like it. PdR couldn't look bad if she tried -- a total goddess!

Deliciously awful:

Is that Jennifer Love Hewitt, or the mom from Malcolm in the Middle?

Star Jones

Patricia Arquette does Shirley Temple

Gwen S.

Who likes Gwen!!I sure do!!!!!!What a wacky outfit!!
