Melaka were rich in history with it glorious Melaka Sultanate Empire before conquered by The Portuguese, then Dutch and British. Remnant buildings by the Portuguese, Dutch and British can be seen in Melaka.

One of the famous site left by the Dutch were the Dutch Square or also known as "The Stadthuys".. bUILT IN 1650. It was an official residence of the Dutch governor. It now houses the Historic Museum and Ethnography Museum which has many traditional bridal costumes and relics on display. The building in this area display the Dutch architecture.

All the building were painted red including the Dutch Church and Clock tower. Since all the colour is painted red, the area was also known as  MELAKA RED SQUARE!!!

....and one memorable Queen's Victoria fountain were the place for a memorable picture ...almost a must by foreign tourist and visitor taking in Melaka. Previously..there are a lot of pigeon at the place....where picture taking were more interesting with the live birds..but there is no more now...?

Lining the red building were sourvenier seller as well as "Beca" or trycle for the visitor to try..!

all alone and green
after ubs and shades did the blue eye thing I looked up green eyes.
Only 2% of us have green eyes (not hazel )So here I am with my greenies in their sunlit glory.

the house guests have gone, as have the marion berry pie guests and the fajita guests and the halibut and couscous guests.... somehow I got on an extroversion role and kept inviting people for three days after our pals flew back to Colorado. But now it's tamed down. I am reading the Thinking Reed by Rebecca West... a rather annoying and disconcerting protagonist is marrying the wrong man because a maneuver went wrong. oh the things people do in books and real life.

  .

Abi has adjusted to the huge stuffed tiger and last night I found her sleeping on his back. very very cute.  and she has finally discovered the goldfish in the pond. My whole back yard is in shade from noon on. amazing haven.

My take on something (who elses take would it be?)
I recently read an issue of a local magazine called Stuff at Night.  This is an important periodical for me to read because I hardly ever go out at night and its important for me to know what actually occurs at nighttime around here.  Its similar to Mario reading any newspaper or magazine thats not about Johnston so he can know that there are other towns and cities out there.  I'm on a tangent.  The reason I bring up this magazine is because there was an article about why women love Boston guys.  They had an article that was a collection of emails from women, listing the specific things they liked and/or loved about Boston guys.  8 of the 12 emails mentioned the red sox.  Reason number one why I hate Boston guys, they can't have a conversation without talking about or mentioning the red sox.  Me: "Hey man whats up?"  Boston D-Bag: "How about Papelbon tonight?"  Me: "Yeah how about him.  Hows the night been for you so far?"  Boston D-Bag: "Not as good as when the sox beat the yankees in the ALCS in 2004".  Me: "Hang on one second, I'm going to kill myself".  The emails mentioned the fact that they loved the way Boston guys wear their sox hats slightly crooked.  Fix your goddamn hat. I've seen people wearing a hat that is close to levitating on top of the head.  Pull it down onto your head.  If its that far up its more like a cloth sports halo.  Another email mentioned that they found it cute that the girl is a close second to the red sox in the guys heart.  Are you kidding me?  Way to seek out a relationship where you don't come first.  Ask Joe how fun that is.  Or any of my exes.  The kicker was the email that said a boston accent on a guy sounds "sooooo hot!".  Anybody, guy or girl, sounds like a retarded chimp with the boston accent.  Dropping R's like its something to do.  I wish the R was tangible because I'd pick them up, put them in a sack and hit people in the face with it.  Fucking Boston.  Worst place on earth.

Entry 69. [Alone] --- Blog Poem #1

Dixie currently feels:

Smiley Alone

Blog Poem #1

I'm hiding my emotions from everyone,

I hide behind my fonts and smileys and fun.

The red arial, size twelve. Hides all,

Except the days when I sob, cry and bawl.

Those days are the days when I let everything flow,

I post photos of cuts and leave it all on show.

I'm shit at writing poetry, but everyone says I'm not,

I'm so bad I have to use rhyming dictionaries, a lot.

But poems just sound so wrong when they don't,

A rhyme on the end of each line, or flow it just won't.

I was just laid in bed, holding her under my chin,

She still has your scent, but its vigor is thin.

I hold her too close, my smell is now overpowering her,

But I don't think I can let go, I need to keep a hold of her soft brown fur.

My structure of syllables and prose is just fucked,

Try as I might, my talent's just cooked.

It'll never be whatever it once was,

I've turned it all against myself, because...

I don't even know the reason myself,

I took too much time over your shelf.

If it falls down then we'll all get a pain,

Right in the skull where it'll fall to blame.

Blame the one who didn't tighten the rivets enough,

A defective spanner, she didn't tug it so rough.

Poetry is the worst form of expression in the world.

I don't think I'll try this again... My frustration is heard.

"I wanna get some gasoline..."
I went to see Seether, Flyleaf, and Red last night in Baltimore with six24  and another friend of ours.  Most people don't know who Red is yet, but Six and I have been fans of theirs for awhile now, and it was a great show from all three bands.  We got a pretty good show in some other aspects as well, haha.  There's nothing quite like screaming some angry lyrics when you're going through a divorce.
