Yummy Pasta Recipe
Every Sunday, all 18 of us (my adoptive family) get together. I made this on Sunday for them, everyone loved it even the kids! (I doubled the batch).

16oz. Penne Pasta (I use whole wheat)
1 cup olive oil
1 bunch of asparagus
1 red onion
2 cups bacon crumbles
1 cup fresh parmesean cheese
3 Tbsp butter
parsely, salt, pepper (to taste)

1. In saucepot, boil 6 cups of water, 1/2 cup of olive oil and salt to taste
2. Place 16 oz. pasta in boiling water and cook until al dente
3. Toss strained pasta with 1/4 cup olive oil to keep pasta from sticking together.
4. Cut a bunch of asparagus into 1/2 inch pieces, then slice 1 onion julianne style. Saute veggies with 1/4 cup of olive oil until tender.
5. Mix pasta and veggies with 3 Tbsp butter, parmesean cheese, and bacon crumbles. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Finish with parsley and serve.

Gano recipies. Catch the Gano Buzz!
  Café Kalan's Cappuccino Bon-Bons

   Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. brownie mix

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1/3 cup oil

  • 1 tbsp. Gano Classic™

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Blend all ingredients. Fill mini-muffin cups full.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.

Healthy Ice Mocha Cappuccino........Goodness this looks "AWESOME"!

Without Blender: Fill a tall glass ½ full with vanilla Soy milk. Add 1 pouch of Gano Café Mocha or Gano 3 in 1 and mix vigorously for 1 minute with a wire whisk or similar utensil.

Add ice and top up with more vanilla Soy milk. Let chill for five minutes then drink and enjoy! If you have a blender handy, its even easier to make and you can make a large batch for guests. They’ll love it!

If you’d rather use real milk then just add a few drops vanilla extract. Great on hot summer days, ¼ the cost of some Coffee Bars and its much better for you!

Fast Delicious Morning Breakfast

In a blender combine 1 cup of cold milk or soy milk with 1 raw egg (or egg substitute), 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder, 1 sachet of your favorite Gano Beverage (Gano Café 3-in-1, Gano Classic [add your own favorite sweetener], Gano Mocha, or Gano Schokolade) and blend together for a great morning start!

Peanut Butter Cheesecake
2 pounds cream cheese
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Powdered sugar or mint

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cream cheese and peanut butter in a large bowl. Beat the mixture in an electric mixer (using a wire whip) until smooth. Gradually add sugar and flour. Beat on medium speed until sugar and flour are incorporated well into cheese and peanut butter mixture. Scrape ingredients from side of bowl before adding eggs. Add eggs gradually and continue to beat on medium speed for two or three minutes until mixture is smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract. Be careful not to over-mix. Remove bowl from mixer. Pour mixture into prepared peanut butter cookie crust. Place cheesecake in oven on center rack. Bake cheesecake in a water bath for approximately 2 hours in 350 degree oven or until tip of a knife comes out clean when inserted in center of cake. Dust with powdered sugar or sprinkle with chopped mint.

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE CRUST:

10 peanut butter cookies

1 teaspoon sugar

2 or 3 tablespoons melted butter

Vegetable oil spray

Use hands to crumble peanut butter cookies in a small mixing bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of melted butter (depending upon the desired consistency). Mix all ingredients well. Spray a 9 by 3-inch springform pan with the vegetable oil. Place ingredients into the bottom of spring form pan. Using fingertips or spoon, press ingredients to form crust.

harumph

it's crap that i can't walk in the woods anymore cos of those stupid men. dude, i went and got my class ring yesterday go me. and i went to the doctor cos my girlyness isn't quite right and i have to take meds now. so that's pretty much it. why is it so non-exciting? i guess it could be worse. i could be ugly, lol. man i am so egotistical. anyway. i'm supposed to go to toshie's this weekend so i'm happy. i'm so looking forward to it. but my parents don't like the fact that she's gonna be picking us up at nine or ten at night so i'm supposed to go to laura's beforehand. i really am boring. hmph.

so william has a new girlfriend. and i guess i should be jealous or something but i'm not. i saw a quote on someone's profile on studentcenter (a great site, you should go) and it said "the hardest thing in life is seeing someone you love love someone else." and i guess that's true but shouldn't i be feeling something? i feel jealous that he talks to another girl in california but i'm NOT jealous that he has a new gf?! do you hear what's going on in my head? i think i hear a distant rattling. such as rocks being shaken. oh well. serves me right for being so freakin emotionless. later.
