Real Time Blogging @ MindSay

Fuck Andrew Sullivan
Last week on "Real Time"on HBO we had Naomi Klein and Andrew Sullivan duking it out.

Andrew is one of those blame-the-victim libertarian types. He believes in "self-government" and "personal responsibility." Naomi should've fired back with the truth: Personal responsibility and self-government are universal concepts that everyone holds. When you apply that to the public, as Republican politicians do, it's a deceitful attempt to get votes.

Naomi IS right when she says that these trillion dollar bailouts are an example of disaster capitalism, NOT true socialism. True socialism is what she said on the show: Nationalising resources for the benefit and interest of the people.

Fuck Andrew Sullivan and his deluded ideology.

Hmmmm......
Apparently, Hosmer was less than impressed with the fact that I logged in to mindsay. I guess if I am blogging about my lack of blogging, it isn't considered blogging at all. I guess blogging requires talking about finding yet another apartment or offending someone or some special interest group. Oh snap. REAL-TIME REVELATION!!! I am watching the Tampa Bay/Boston baseball game, and Josh Paul, the backup catcher for Tampa, is a dead ringer for Hosmer. Mustache and everything. I had never noticed this before, but I am so glad that I have, because now I'm watching Meerkat Manor, and
I may have missed it. Unfortunately, I do not know anyone who resembles a Meerkat. I'm going for a ride now, Dante walks in here with these schemes and next thing you know, I'm gone for hours and never planned on being gone for 5 minutes. Well, maybe this is a post...

This Isnt an Angry post. Just some observations, that's All!
Howdy howdy all
Ever notice That everything is fine until YOU have some shit to deal with? I mean you put in work for people and watch them put in work for others but not once has any given person asked you specifically about your demons and how you might be slaying or laying them? That's just the toxins talking yall, so dont panic. Yet.

1. when was the last time you listened to someone else without one upping them with some shit of your own?
2. when was the last time you heard good advice and got your ass off your shoulders and took that advice?
3. when was the last time you were the same person that you pretended to be among company?
4. when was the last time you were completely honest with yourself about your abilities and your limitations?
5. when was the last time you stopped helping every other person, stranger or otherwise and made a move in your own best interest?
6. When was the last time you told someone that the next ultimatum better come with follow through cause you sick of hearing the bullshit?
7. when was the last time you told the EXACT same story to everyone you met without embellishments and lies for the benefit of the person you are talking to or to elevate your ego?
8. when was the last time you actually placed the blame were it belonged (with yourself) for any given issue no matter how big or small?

I went down this list and addressed each question in my journal. I like fiction but I dont assign fiction to my life. I have a healthy dose of the fantastic but I am a realist and I am real with myself. It aint always pretty but damn-it if I told a tale about me to one person then I told that same fucking tale to the next muhfucka. I Verbatim. wonder how many of us can say the same....

I am in the middle of a Master Cleanse and let me tell you, when they say that the toxins are released, they aint just whistling Dixie!
This shit is like cracking a coconut and watching as the milk floods your hands and saturates the ground. You can't stop the flow literally or figuratively.
That's for real.
As for my cleansing, I am doing one day of Master Cleanse and then a fruit, veggie vibe for the next 5 days and then a 2 day Master Cleanse and then another 5 days of whole organic foods and then a 3 day cleanse and so on and so on until I get deep into the groove of my former health lifestyle. Lots of Dieters Green tea, peppermint and chammomile tea (all naturally decaf of course)
It's difficult because not only is my body full of toxicity, my mind is still in need of spring cleaning and its moving into mid summer. No worries. I am getting my shit together, hope to see you on the other side my lovelies.
Anyway, in the words of Russell Simmons (who I admittedly have some beef with) DO YOU!

Goddess Bless

cool quote from Getting Real
People often spend too much time up front trying to solve problems they don’t even have yet. Don’t. Heck, we launched Basecamp without the ability to bill customers! Since the product billed in monthly cycles, we knew we had a 30-day gap to figure it out. We used that time to solve more urgent prob- lems and then, after launch, we tackled billing. It worked out fine (and it forced us into a simple solution without unnecessary bells and whistles).
