The Philadelphia Phillies won a wild Game 3 last night to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Carlos Ruiz drove in the winning run with the first walk-off infield single in World Series history. The game ended at 1:47 am ET. Game 4 is tonight.

Game 1 of the World Series is up & running. Phils leading 3-1 going into the 5th. Kazmir needs to settle down and stop worrying about baserunners. If he'd just make his pitch, there'd be no baserunners. Just to drive the point home - Rays in 6. I'm tired of the political mumbojumbo for now. Obama will win, We're fucked no matter what & I'll be looking for property way down Mexico way. So, I'll give it a rest right now and enjoy some baseball. OK, I'm not really an expert at anything. But I did predict a Rays/Phillies World Series. And - The Tampa Bay Rays will win in exactly 6 games. Boston tried to make a liar out of me... The series starts tomorrow, I'm ready. It'll probably get low ratings nationally but that's just because people are stupid.

Houston's major newspaper, the Chronicle endorsed Obama. Kinda makes you wonder why a newspaper is taking sides in the election. News outlet are supposed to be neutral, right? They been quite partial for awhile now.
Before the playoffs started and everybody thought the World Series would come down to the Angels/Cubs or Dodgers/Red Sox, I used my amazing powers of deduction to call the Rays/Phillies. With the Phils clinching last nite and the Rays wiping their ass with the Red Sox again tonite, it looks like I'll be right. And, you heard it here first, Tampa beats Philly in 6 games.

Here's my conspiracy theory - The Powers That Be have already decided that Obama is going to be our next president. They had the media do its job of selling him to the public and now George Bush is paving the way for his communist ideas by taking over Fannie Mae/Freddy Mac and buying up U.S. banks. Bush and McCain have never liked each other. But, President Bush can't be seen endorsing a democratic canidate so he has to play up to supporting John McCain. McCain kicked around the idea of becoming John Kerry's running mate in 2004. He wanted the nomination in 2000, but lost it to Bush. Bush needed McCain and his strong military background to support him in his second term as president. McCain needed Bush to use force to 'track down terrorists', a belief McCain himself strongly supports. Yeah, he's still a better dancer than this guy. Bush and Obama have some similarities. GW, in his first State of the Union address, tried to come across as the type of president who was willing to work across party lines, expand healthcare access & Medicare, protect the enviroment, and expand social security. He ended his speech by saying ''Juntos podemos, together we can.'' Obama, and his universal healthcare plan, have been know to use the phrase ''Sí se puede, yes we can.''
Well the Bush/Obama argument may be a little weak but its my theory so I'm still working on it.
In other news, the Rays are taking game 4, 13-4. Tomorrow the Phillies get a chance to clinch against L.A. and after that my World Series predictions will almost be 100%. I'm calling for the Rays to beat the Phils in 6 games.
